Actually, Cloud's hair doesn't come in the SIMS. You download it because it's a mod. There are loads of better Cloud hairs now, and this video is really old. But back then, that hair was the only "Cloud" hair available. And it did suck. XD

Corrected spelling to prevent my peers from getting a headache reading it. Cloud was crying because he thought Sephiroth was his friend, but obviously he wasn't. They don't have their swords because you can't use swords in the SIMS 2, and when you have them they are just decorative and ruin the visuals.
