im pretty sure paper mario 3d was a big announcement and i saw the super smash bros coming because nintendo fans wished for a SSB on the ds since it came out. i read that they didn't believe the DS could handle it. i believe it could've been done w/ the proper team, but once i saw the 3ds and how its abilites tripled i expected this. but this announcement doesn't mean much to me. we'd be lucky to get a teaser by early next year. remember brawl's teaser came in e3 06 but the game came out in 08

I want to know if I should get a 3DS. I am going on a 20 hour drive and need something to do, but $250 isn't exactly cost effective. my psp broke after many years of heavy use, and i really liked it. i could get a used ds lite but it feels kinda weird spending $100 on an old system and i'd need to spend more on games, but many of the games don't appeal to me. i like old school games but ds has too many puzzle games with almost no graphics, im going to get a ps vita, but i need help for the trip.

Just go to the store and buy a little handheld poker game, I dunno...Find a way to hold on to you money. But if you have bank like that then by all means get the 3DS if you really went it.

@rubertoe123456 you should definately go for the 3ds. youll have the device that Nintendo will be putting all of its focus in for the next generation, and they're giving it alot of attention putting alot of major release on it that we thought were going to be on the Wii. its worth it in my opinion. i get console graphics, graphics like none i've ever seen on a handheld, with console-like games. The content is there and with the few games i have spent hours on end with. the end result is worth it

I agree with Wiias40. A red 3ds available thousands of miles away from us. Whoopde-frickin-doo. Super Mario 3ds has been one of the most talked about 3ds games by IGN. It will probably become just as popular as NSMB wii, yet you barely talked about it. When you mentioned it, it was about TLOZ's 25 anniversary, which obviously (joking) has more gaming potential than SM3ds
