Your story was beautiful smivadee. I know at close hand the affect of cancer and how it affects the lives of so many people so I found this story brave and full of emotion.

That was really powerful, it's bringing tears to my eyes. I lost my grandad to liver cancer last year and one of my biggest regrets is that I never properly said goodbye and I don't really have anything to remind me of him except my memories. Sorry to hear of your loss, but it sounds as if she stayed brave and happy until the end.

Touching story Smiv.. I never actually lost someone to cancer, but my grandpa died even before my mum and dad got married, so I never knew him either. Pretty effed up..

awe smiv that was sad.. i want to post a vid but im still touchey with my story.. but ill type it here.. almost two years ago my mom took il and had to go to hosp. after a week or so of being uncuncess the doctor told us she had cancer everywhere in her body and over 5 tumors and alot of flud around her heart. i was there the day they woke her up and she couldnet talk because tubes but that was the last day i seen my moms eyes opend.. cancer is a horible thing and im happy u done the percing<3!

Sadly cancer is a big part in my families history. My Mum had it (thank god, she survived and has been cancer free for the last 17 years), my Opa had it, and various brothers and uncles of his had it - not surviving.
