  • 0:50 DISCOTEEKAA! WOO

  • genia pigs?

  • Heres one for you can a nother rocket kill another rocket?

  • For that matter, when they were both facing away from you, only the closest soldier got the crit.

  • Guinea pigs*

  • 0:45 DANCE SOLDIER

  • not bad, but you should put all the videos into one big megavideo:D

    like they did in mw2

  • its Because you are using a backburner if you are using a normal flamethrower it wouldnt happen

  • Link in description is dead.

  • What's a Genia pig? :S

  • @PARANOiA4Life a big hamster

  • why so mean?

  • HUMP AWAY BOYS!

  • You spelled guinea wrong.

  • Love their little pelvic thrusting action when they're on fire~

  • Derp you have the backburner which is a 100% crit chance from behind

  • the backburner is supposed to do that or are you just making a point?

  • hahahah 0:52 they are humping something xD

  • The closer u r to ur target the more dmg and those other 2 werent that close as the victim

  • Doesn't matter, he still burned the other two, meaning that IF the crits were to have happened to the other two, you would've been able to see the mini-text.

  • ORGAMS LOL1

  • These videos cannot be credible, when you play online a certain thing called latency has a major effect and can cause events that you do not see playing lan. Hitboxes lag slightly behind the actual character models.

If you're going to continue these myths, you should field test on a populated server.

  • But he proved it to not be universal, it's due to lag.

  • Unless you're playing on a really shitty server, it shouldn't be so bad that you would get backburned facing what you think is forward.

  • I don't think you understand. Even if there was latency and hitbox lag, that means that you would be hitting the back of other people. This is to simply clarify that hitting someone in the back doesn't turn your FLAMES into crits, it just turns all fire damage they take, into crits.

  • You spelled guinea pigs wrong and Kamikaze (bots real names)

  • the other two wear hit so that would kill them

  • @ bbriiannz: Once, having the original flamethrower gave you 50 extra health, if I recall correctly.

  • No the backburner did.

  • Oh, ok.

  • so wait did the backburner or the original flamethrower give health?

  • The Backburner.

  • but maybe the one in front died faster because he was closer?

  • It Did do the front crits when the back burner first came out, But VALVe Cares about their Games and they fixed it A.S.A.P....

  • @ERRORxakaRay unlike CoD

  • @nameguy101 If I could give you +reputation I would :D

  • sv_cheats 1

    bot

  • lol soldier hump

  • Personally, i think the only reason that the backburner wasn't scratched was because it has a perfect name. Otherwise, it infringes on the spy's backstabbing ability in the extreme.

    Feel free to disagree.

  • Its good, but they should rly have been able to come up with something a little better (theyre valve after all XD)

    Also the name sucks -.-

  • Backburner is totally appropriate given that it's a form of woodland control to prevent forest fires. How is the name terrible?

  • I disagree!

  • you should line up like 25 of thoses soldier bots and burn them all

then it wold be a flaming conga line

  • lol good idea

  • IT'S A BACKBRUNER!

  • No the bug did not work, the 2 people facing towards the pyro didn't crit which is normal, if it was bugged it would've critted them.

  • Ok this is really cool. Keep making these videos. Great work. Love know this stuff when I play TF2!

  • I like the way they hump the air when they are on fire.

  • It's Guinea Pigs lol

  • How do you spawn bots?

  • DIRECT X 8 SUCKS

  • one day in 2012 someone will say "DIRECT X 10 SUCKS"

  • maybe.

  • People are ALREADY saying that :p

  • no, it rocks, but it will suck when dx 12 comes out

  • lulz

  • ya sure im a dumbass but i there way to change from dx 9 to dx 10 im just wondering

  • <ea. by getting a new video card

  • sorry , but no , currently source engine does not support DX10

  • ok but if it did support it how would i change it?

  • i dunno , it would automatically i think. it sets best playable settings possible + Direct x level automatically

otherwise its in launch parameters as -dxlevel 100 (i think it would be that since 9 is 90)

  • ok so how big of a diference would 8 be to 9 because my video card can take 10

  • 8 promises much greater frames per second then 9 .

  • the myth was if u get one persons back, anyone else in the fires range gets critted too.

  • It's not supposed to be. It's disproving a rumored glitch.

  • Don't click that, it will steal your account details.

  • and its obviosly fake since steam doesnt put free trials on the net at all, and even if they did they would not put it on a third party website

  • Duh, i was just warning the people who isn't that smart ;)

  • As some people said, this used to be true; Valve have since patched this bug, however.

  • the soldier in the middle got hit with 3 or 2 crits. but ended when the first one hit the floor. this is what i see i can be wrong and i might be

  • 0:52 there like fucking each other up!

  • :c(

  • poor Sissy :c((

  • 0:40 - i think it should be Guinea pigs instead of Genia.

A video itself is helpful though, 5*.

  • Yup, it's Guinea pigs.

It's also "Scenario" instead of "senario" and "Circumstances" instead of curcumstances.

  • backburner does not fires "critical flame" if you fryin' someone's spicy back, just it does the crit as backstab. sure there can be "facestab" but it's only luck.

  • no more facestabs...

    =[

  • This USED to be true. I remember it doing excatly what the 'myth' said it was supposed to.

However, I think Valve changed that in a patch.

  • A crit is a crit, my friend. Distance doesn't effect crits.

  • @Taktwo2 tell me that when you use the scattergun.

  • @fishaman010

Falloff damage does not effect criticals. Look it up on the tf2wiki

  • @EdelSeriman yeah, sorrya bout that, i thought he meant damage dealt by crits

  • @fishaman010 Oh but it does. Crits usually ramp up the base damage up to 300%. Each pellet of a scattergun does roughly 6 damage, but a critical hit, each pellet deals around 18 damage.

  • Humping soldiers xD

  • The myth is that they do crits from the front, which is the point of the video.

  • the myth was, that is it hit a back hitbox, then i would be crits no matter if it hit the back hitbox on other players.

  • its a response to what someone said on a forum, can you read scrolling text?

  • A cool series, make more :D

  • SISSY!! D:

  • It's "guinea" pigs :P Nice video though! One of the many things I have wondered about.

  • MAke more myths!
