I agree about that "sadness" comment. There's this huge, monumental sadness in this song that's hard to replicate in more mainstream metal. They're not that similar to Liturgy, but I sort of get the same feeling from United Nations. Really dark and just really fucking sad.

The only reason the guys in the band call it black metal is because thats what they where influenced by, It may not be black metal 'i think of it as post black much in the same way joy division are post punk' but its still cool these guys are doing their own thing. Their really just a far more melodic version of wolves in the throne room.
