Stephenie Meyer does not deserve the recognition to be an author, and none of the money or fame. Jo Rowling does, however. I'm sorry, but Edward would win because of his terrible author. He's "immortal and beautiful." Just like the authors, Edward may be winning, most popular right now, but Harry over time has eclipsed Edward. Twilight is a book for teenage girls and the fad will end soon. Harry Potter is a book for everyone and in fact, is a classic.

I read both Harry Potter and Twilight series and I can absolutely sure that Harry stand no chance against Edward. If they are to be close enough for Harry to cast a spell, Harry wouldnt be able to do it in time. The only escape for Harry is to teleport(forgot what the term was,read it long time ago)Harry is only human, having magical blood run in his veins.Edward has super speed and strength, he could tear Harry apart before he could even begin to say the spell.Not to mention he could read mind.

They weren't all by luck. He survived alot more things by himself. That's what other spells are for, and you never know harry could use heaps of spells to send flames at him and axes, which would chop of edwards head.

occlumency isn't an attack in that sense either... it's a learned ability. and who says that occlumency only protects the mind from magic? If Edward can read minds then that is like legilimency and occlumency barrs the mind of any mind reading powers. Since Edward Cullen is thankfull not in Harry Potter (which would be ever so tragic because a gary-stue like him would ruin the book) we might just never know. =) In any case, Harry would surely win.
