no, c salim (the guy that got slapped) is jamal's brother (the one that slapped him). Slaim joined a gang and he took jamal's girl, latika, so basicly, jamal is pissed cuz silim took her and he didnt here from them in years. so now hes trying to find her. just wath the film, its AMAZING!!!!
One of the best moment from the film... even though Jamal was saved by his brother, his brother pulled a dirty move on him that went to far beyond forgiveness
yep he went to have sex with her in the hotel room in order to claim her for Javed. he and Latika then abandoned the hotel, losing complete contact with Jamal. so it makes sense why Jamal was pissed.
They didn't fall off the building. Jamal was just thinking of what he'd like to do to Salim. Instead of pushing Salim off the building, he punched him in the face instead.

Salim had to die for them, the most unselfish act one can commit.

yep he went to have sex with her in the hotel room in order to claim her for Javed. he and Latika then abandoned the hotel, losing complete contact with Jamal. so it makes sense why Jamal was pissed.

They didn't fall off the building. Jamal was just thinking of what he'd like to do to Salim. Instead of pushing Salim off the building, he punched him in the face instead.
