how about you don't go shouting insults at me first of all.
Second of all "everyone" who doesn't know how to paint tapes off, that's about it. If you have to tape off around trim when you cut in, you are an amateur painter,, that is DIY stuff.
10 years of effort, we successfully developed the most advanced "Wall Shuttle"in the world and got patented . With one person operation and automatic movements , which could be widely used for paint brush , wall polishing and cleaning (including glass curtain walls, glass, etc.), wallpaper removal, wallpaper stick , wallpaper paste and so on.
For paint and wallpaperin. New Diy invention Wallshuttle
Blue tape is only necessary if you are going to leave on for more than a day. Brown tape (masking tape) bonds better, therefore it tends to bleed less. And it cost alot less than blue.
I throw the flag again. I 100% agree to wipe off surfaces, I am at a loss as to why you tape? Use a good brush, quality paint, and steady hand, you are wasting your time w/ tape.
That's okay for people who do have a steady hand, but not everyone does. We used the tape before primer and I was very glad we did. Not everyone is an experienced painter or steady with the paintbrush. Some of us need the tape for the first few painting experiences until we get the hang of it. Better safe than sorry.
great job buddy loved the video, and you make it look soo easy.

wow, anyone who is going to paint for money should not be taping off, a pro will cut in without taping, leaves a much better cut line than with tape.
I wouldn't pay this guy to paint, he's not that great at it. I'm sure he's a nice guy though.

question : should I tape some newspapers or something on the edge of the floor so that the paint doesn't drip down and stain the wood?

So I remove the blue tape as soon as I'm done? Even if it's semi dry? Or do I wait until it's completely dry?
