  • great job buddy loved the video, and you make it look soo easy.

  • You need to speak up and stop mumbling!

  • wow, anyone who is going to paint for money should not be taping off, a pro will cut in without taping, leaves a much better cut line than with tape.

I wouldn't pay this guy to paint, he's not that great at it. I'm sure he's a nice guy though.

  • @chrisbc29 stfu everyone has to tape off

  • @urHOTyup28

how about you don't go shouting insults at me first of all.

Second of all "everyone" who doesn't know how to paint tapes off, that's about it. If you have to tape off around trim when you cut in, you are an amateur painter,, that is DIY stuff.

  • @chrisbc29 when did i insult you?

  • question : should I tape some newspapers or something on the edge of the floor so that the paint doesn't drip down and stain the wood?

    Thanks!

  • Just bought my own house and the videos have been massive help! Thanks very much!

  • Pull the tape right away. Slowly and towards the paint.

  • Blue tape is only necessary if you are going to leave on for more than a day. Brown tape (masking tape) bonds better, therefore it tends to bleed less. And it cost alot less than blue.

  • great thanks!

andy seems like a cool guy

  • So I remove the blue tape as soon as I'm done? Even if it's semi dry? Or do I wait until it's completely dry?

  • Potatoes!

  • cant u use frog tape?

  • Very helpful. Thanks for explaining the rationale as well for why you do things a certain way.

  • These are good tips. Many people would just try winging it and do it halfassed.

  • I throw the flag again. I 100% agree to wipe off surfaces, I am at a loss as to why you tape? Use a good brush, quality paint, and steady hand, you are wasting your time w/ tape.

  • That's okay for people who do have a steady hand, but not everyone does. We used the tape before primer and I was very glad we did. Not everyone is an experienced painter or steady with the paintbrush. Some of us need the tape for the first few painting experiences until we get the hang of it. Better safe than sorry.

  • He's a good handyman... I like how he is thorough and pays attention to detail. Idid not know about all these tips... THANKS!!

  • Im just getting a few pointers before I start.....thanks for the tips...

  • Thanks for watching, hope the videos helped and good luck with your painting project.

  • @ExpertRealEstateTips Thank You!

  • Is there a video for sanding the walls?

  • You're a good handy man. Keep it up. Just like I showed you. Soon you'll be as good as me.

  • Thankyou so much for this!!
