Ray Luzier isnt a pussy, in fact he makes David look really bad, because David is horrible compared to Ray. David cant solo to save his life, not only does Ray solo better, but also plays ALL of Korn's song better than David EVER did.
I think I like Terry Bozzio better than Ray Luzier. But David Silvera. Man hes been playing with Munky and Fieldy since L.A.P.D. He can never be replaced.

He had such an awesome style, and I'm not just saying that. He didn't just do the simple beat every time, he'd do subtle changes and it would give such a better sound. He used the toms so well in beats.

comparing silveria to jordison is comparing apples to oranges. two totally different styles. silveria had a unique, cool style that set him apart from his peers. jordison can play silveria's stuff, but keep in mind that silveria is the one who actually wrote the drum parts- they were his ideas and his creativity. no matter who plays drums for korn, the drummer will always be playing stuff that SILVERIA created.
Exactly!! Dave had his own mix of hip hop, metal and hard rock that no one has done since! Dave isn't the best drummer but he is one of the most origional! He fit Korn perfectly!! They might not have made it as big as they did without Dave! He's an underrated drummer! I love his style! Mind you, there is way better drummers out there! David is used a piccolo snare Which is a very very high pitch snare and very tight. im not sure if he just tightened this one up cause im not sure is this one IS a piccolo. but this is what it would sound like

I think it is a Pearl 14"x3.5" free floater piccolo snare drum. Those have a steel ring extension to the bottom of the shell for the lugs to connect to without connecting to the shell. Now I know he's been endorsed by Tama for a long time but what you use in the studio or at home is usually different than your live setup where millions of people see what you use.

jeez you guys are dumb if you think you know alot about drums, first of all a good drummer has rhythm and doesnt just sit there and bang on it like a 2 year old like you guys do, and Dave he doesnt bang on it like a 2 year old he has rhythm. But sadly people like you just run your mouth just because you arent in a famous metal band like him and your band and drumming skills suck :)

You have to love people who play the drums for a few years then think they're world class musicians who's opinions actually mean something. David is a fantastic drummer, and if you want to get real musicianship involved - a good friend of mine has been featured on the cover of rhythm magazine and shares the same opinion.

joey couldnt even play the korn stuff, he has a shitty sense of rhythm compared to silveria (and i used to be a huge joey fan), and a smaller kit allows him to be more creative. To sum up, you are an idiot

Maybe 'cause the session drummer is Terry Bozzio, one of the all-time great drummers who was playing some of the most rhythmically complex music ever written with Zappa when David was still playing on his mother's tupperware. David is very good & I enjoy him, but experience does show.
