  • Hey Mr.Brown: If you are paying attention to this message, i would like to say that you are truly blessed and a genius. In fact , I must admit that I did indeed sample one of your songs, I played some insturments over it, sped up the tempo and rapped on top of it. So, we kind of did it together, although you did most of the work. I just added my genius to it. I kind of feel guilty, thats why im posting this message and hope you reach out to me as I am reaching out to you. michael.cannon6@yahoo

  • I was cruising up I-70 into Fredrick MD back in 2003 when I first heard this song. I did not catch the artist due to a distraction from the phone but I was determined to find out who this was! He was talking to me! With his guitar! I was blown away. Jimmi is great But Norman is outta sight! I had 4 of his CD's within a week! Needless to say I have a stack now and Right on To Norman Brown. • You have to give the guy credit. What a smooth hand. Doesn't overplay and keeps you wanting more.

  • totally different sound from george benson shame ppl compare them so often.

  • Norman Brown is just amazing on the guitar, watch him play live would be the most exciting moment in a lifetime.

  • I saw this gentleman musician play live for the fst time at the 8th Gardena Jazz Festival 2010 last yr. He was awesome.. but more than just the chops and playing, he is so humble and really loves the audience and play to them and for them...jumped off the stage like on 2 different songs while people danced around him..just kept soloing while we all had a ball. :)

  • d +!

  • Noman is this special talent, follow his career from the start and I have to say is worth it is really good

  • very nice tune!!

  • Another great track from the greatest jazz guitar album of all time, "After The Storm"!

  • everytime i hear this i think of my summers in my hometown of Indy,In.

  • Norman Brown was one of those kids that you knew would be a star one day. He was playing George Benson in Middle School and sounded like a professional then. He was playing in night clubs in high school in the Kansas City area. He is just gifted beyond music lessons. He is one of Gods music messengers and he loves his fans. So down to earth.

  • God bless you tube. it introduced me to norman brown. alright!

  • The George Benson legacy...

  • Everything about this great artist is smooth. I can't wait until I see him at the Richmond Va. Jazz Festival next month. You da man Norman!!

  • Everything about this great artist is smooth. Can't wait until I see him at the Richmond Va. Jazz festival next month. Go Norman!!!!

  • he does a good job of taking you to that special place

  • No Doubt, the torch has been passed! From George Benson to Norman Brown. George should feel "GOOD" to have someone who he can say is worthy of taking smooth jazz into the next era!! This dude is the NEXT LEVEL!! Keep going Mr. Brown you have a loyal fan!!

  • what a great song walking the streets at night.

  • Good night all see u soon. km

  • Wonderful song...brings back images of George Benson in his heyday. Great song to chill to....bottle of vino, cool breeze...and so on!!

  • A great record, from a great, great album!

  • The first time I heard this song I was in my semi, stuck in Chicago traffic. This song made the idle time so much more enjoyable. Now if they would only build a bridge over Chitown :P

  • Absolutely a great Norman Brown song!

  • This is a GOOD and long song that is most enjoyed

  • meravigliosa-5 stelle

  • he is talented and I like the sound very nice soothing music

  • Great song, why 11:00 tho

  • because not all music has to be 3 minutes

  • oh i get what u mean now, sorry ignore.

  • Norman is amazing! Lov him

  • I agree.

  • I saw him this past summer with Boney JamesGreat concert!

  • Why the need to dual about whose musicianship is better? Norman is great in his own right. George is brilliant and Earl is phenomenal. Each has his own style. Enough already. They all make music rise up to meet you! THAT is what counts!

  • Both of them are great jazz musicians...

    Jazz Music evolves...

Geroge B, I will say is one of the great guys that built the bridge between the old bebop & contemporary jazz players like Wes etc.. to this day´s modern or smooth Jazz guitarists and guys like Norman Brown are the harvest of this great works of people like George Benson, Earl Klugh etc... Norman Brown is the smoothest I have heard but he is not to be compared with George B for a lot of reasons

    Keep it up NB!

  • While I have been a George Benson fan for life, no true jazz fan can doubt the skills of Norman Brown. He is smooth jazz.........period!!

  • I still prefer George Benson, although I do think Norman may be a little faster. But I think George is more advanced musically.

  • Hey, Norman Brown music is awesome

  • wowh!! IT IS SO filling!!

  • Simply the best.

  • Nice!

  • norman is the best in smooth jazz he's so smooth

  • i love the band !

  • Norman can lay down the licks. So fast yet so smoooth.

He was in Grand Rapids MI. Was unbelievable. I like his first 3

albums best, all guitar, not so "pop".

For my taste, I like Norman music better than Benson. But I like Ken Navarro, Larry Coryell, Russ Freeman, Al DiMeola, Bireli Lagrene, Shawn Lane, Larry Carlton etc. Better than George Benson.

  • Almost as good as George Benson...But he definitely plays SO FINE...

    thanks for sharing =P

  • I agree, George Benson is the Man.....that being said Norman Brown is the Man.....I think the World of Jazz is big enough for both of them!

  • i agree
