  • is there any reason you taped down the pop up flash?

  • HELp mine goes very slow !

  • Very Cool! It goes faster in that mode. I am going to add that to my cheat sheet.

    Thanks!

  • it's really useful video ! thank you so much fine I know how to shoot with 9fps @D300s

  • It works also with the D300s. :)

  • are you you using a hp pavilion dv7

  • Not working for me. Setting it your way only allows me to fire off 8 or 9 frames total. Not even the 8 FPS you claim. I heard the shutter going on your video. Did sound faster than mine. But setting it your way I shouldn't be limited to a burst of 9 shots. I must have something else enabled affecting the result. What it is I haven't figured out yet. I can't even get 6 FPS just 3 FPS normally (Continuous Servo, CH, 1/250) You can msg me if you want.

  • I've just tried that and it works well with JPEG and TIFF but not NEF sadly. Thanks for the tutorial anyway!

  • @Andyhinds Yes it will, pick the 12bit RAW nef !

  • how about, lets just not tell people to get canon gear on a Nikon video.

  • Right... And have 18 Megapixels fuck up your memory cards instead.

  • hey hey... nikon does sucks cuz their d700 can't match with canon's 5dmk2. and seriously nikon get kicked in their arses by canon. boo to nikon, unless they wanna upgrade that outdated d700 asap

  • @Xyb3rTeCh - The 5dmk2 only does 3.9 fps a second and 3frames a second for brackleting. I think the ass kick is from NIkon.

  • @gavinho007 yeah... i know. but in this case, the budget full frame is more to its quality, not the speed. but still, d700 is not worth at for your money,

  • @gavinho007 Theres nothing else to compare in cameras but fps?

  • @Petsku333, sure there is more to compare but this video was base on fps. furthermore fps on brackleting is very important if you only get one chance to capture that shot.

  • @Xyb3rTeCh it doesnt matter which camera is better! as long as Im holding the camera it kicks ass LOL I happen to use the D300

  • Comment removed

  • and the 7D was the best seller amongs the DSLR. i dont see any good features from nikon. its stupid for d3s to still stick with 12MP. nikon gear also pricey. canon kick nikon, sony, olympus and pentax arses for good

  • forget those confusing settings...im getting a grip! lol

  • haha nice video! Im sure the D300 can shot at 8 fps without the grip but is some sort of software inside that doesnt let us do it so we go out and buy the grip, but this was a nice way to go around that. thx

  • beau! y'a la même en FRANCAIS???

  • cool!

  • or cough up $200 and no screwing about

  • or buy the cheap zaiko's grip for 50 bucks which does exactly the same thing as the nikon grip

  • nice info

  • Great vid - lots of hoops to jump through though - just bought my grip :-D

  • hi. thanks for the video.

i followed each step you listed in your video yet i'm still only getting 1 frame per second.

what would be preventing this from working properly?

  • Are your settings set at Continuous shooting?

  • I would say you're not holding down the function-button while shooting? Or maybe you didn't choose 9 frames bracketing?

Hope it helps =) (Thanks SoonerZoom for the great tip btw!)

  • dude i think to make this work you should reset your setting first before the configuration will wok

  • i think you should reset your setting first before applying the settings in this video

  • hi thanks for the video. i followed each step shown in your video, yet i only got 1 frame per second.

    why would this happen?

  • whats is the lens mounted on your camera?

  • To me, it looks like MF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 (AI-s version).

  • where can i get the grip

  • Its not Nikon's Mistake of mentioning such thing. They are right, techincally its not traditional 8fps in such bracketing mode

  • nikon pisses me off cuz obviously d300 can do 8fps without the grip

  • Yea, you kinda right..

  • well, with the grip you can do 8fps for about 100 frames or so. with this you can only do 9 in a row, so... :p
