Any other guitarist would be nervous playing with Petrucci. Rena just lets it rip 'cause she's the wife and knows every imperfection and mistake, not to mention his faults and foibles like all wives do. What a great couple and great people from all I can tell. Much happiness and long success in marriage and family, music and life.

That night died like 50 people just because John changed the adjustements in his amp during all the song, so he could minimize the deaths in his solo.

@trakir: She does on a song or two. Usually only when they bring one guitar rig. At this show, there was Rena's Roadking II and a 4x12 and John's Mark IV and a 4x12, so they both played guitar.

that was a very, very tasteful solo by john...pretty much up until 6:10, he threw just the perfect amounts of shreddy licks in.

@Scoredon88: Yeah, JP's a beast. Hella nice guy too. We were chatting it up about gear, technique, etc. You should see when you get him chatting about gear. He's like a kid in a candy store. Haha.
