Why are there no modest pants shown? A woman can't always wear skirts or dresses. Horseback riding, lab work, outdoor work, and exercising all necessitate pants.

These styles honor God in that they keep men from lusting after the wrong things. It is the lust of the body that is fleeting. A modest woman is extremely attractive to a man who wants a long term relationship (marriage) with a quality woman.
I pray that more women of God consider styles like this one. It also makes intimacy better in that the body is truly only revealed to the spouse. That makes it spiritual, mental, and sensual.
There are a lot of stupid people on these social networking sites. I don't like the styles, but I do like the fact that they wish to cover up. I believe the women with the lowest self esteems feel the need to be half naked all the time. I've also found since I've been covering up, men have this weird need to "unwrap me." (Fyi I don't label myself as anything when it comes to religion.) I wear headwraps not only because of my faith, but my ancestory. But to each his/her own.
I don't like head coverings either. Why does my freedom need to be restricted like that? Besides, long hair isn't always 'sexy' to a guy, osmetimes it shows personality and makes the guy more interested in who you are rather than being tempted sexually.

I have read it too and the only mention of head covering I can think of is 1 Cor. 11:5 where it says a woman ought to have her head covered when she prays or prophesies. It does not say when she is in a place of worship. It is not the place, but the activity. Also, not all women are asked to be modest, only Christian women (those who pray or prophesy in the name of Christ)

i grew up n the pentecostal religion and YES i believe that christian women should b modest and represent christ BUT i dont follow the churches laws, rules. i follow God's convictions. everyone has their own personal convictions and it's very personal between u and God.
I didn't see anything very modest here; and certainly not extreme. I saw very naturally feminine women dressing very stylishly. It reminds me of the normal fashion of the 1970's USA. I would feel absolutely beautiful and very comfortable wearing any of these styles. Love the music, btw.

@63theophilus Way too many of the "Christian women I know confuse "pretty" with "sexy" and think they have to have form-fitting, skimpy clothing that reveals thighs and cleavage. The reasons for this are to draw men's attention to their bodies. This does not demonstrate a modest spirit which is that is pleasing to the Lord. Clothing usually choices usually show what is in the heart. :)

My personal beliefs is that our bodies are beautiful. I do like these "Christian" fashion styles for women. They are certainly better than that style where the woman's waist is exposed and hangs out over her jeans' waistline (usually accompanied by a butterfly tattoo over the lower back). It looks comical, unearthly and isn't even remotely alluring. You have to be in a famine for the waist to not hang over your jeans making you look fat - there's no other way you can do it!
Very nice. I wish more modern women would dress like this. I love how all the "feminist" types get all defensive over something like this, maybe they feel guilty. Nobody is forcing you to dress this way, so why flame on those who wish to be modest? Ask yourself, why do you feel the need to have your T&A hanging out all the time? Is this really about freedom? Well, as a young Christian woman, I did not picture any of these clothes on myself nor do I think going completely against the grain of fashion (let's be honest) equates to modesty. Wearing skinny jeans is not synonymous with impurity, this is a surefire way to alienate young girls because all I saw was, not many looks, but one.

These styles honor God in that they keep men from lusting after the wrong things. It is the lust of the body that is fleeting. A modest woman is extremely attractive to a man who wants a long term relationship (marriage) with a quality woman.
I pray that more women of God consider styles like this one. It also makes intimacy better in that the body is truly only revealed to the spouse. That makes it spiritual, mental, and sensual.

There are a lot of stupid people on these social networking sites. I don't like the styles, but I do like the fact that they wish to cover up. I believe the women with the lowest self esteems feel the need to be half naked all the time. I've also found since I've been covering up, men have this weird need to "unwrap me." (Fyi I don't label myself as anything when it comes to religion.) I wear headwraps not only because of my faith, but my ancestory. But to each his/her own.

I have read it too and the only mention of head covering I can think of is 1 Cor. 11:5 where it says a woman ought to have her head covered when she prays or prophesies. It does not say when she is in a place of worship. It is not the place, but the activity. Also, not all women are asked to be modest, only Christian women (those who pray or prophesy in the name of Christ)

I didn't see anything very modest here; and certainly not extreme. I saw very naturally feminine women dressing very stylishly. It reminds me of the normal fashion of the 1970's USA. I would feel absolutely beautiful and very comfortable wearing any of these styles. Love the music, btw.

@63theophilus Way too many of the "Christian women I know confuse "pretty" with "sexy" and think they have to have form-fitting, skimpy clothing that reveals thighs and cleavage. The reasons for this are to draw men's attention to their bodies. This does not demonstrate a modest spirit which is that is pleasing to the Lord. Clothing usually choices usually show what is in the heart. :)

My personal beliefs is that our bodies are beautiful. I wear what's practical (like shorts in the summer) not because I'm not modest but because I dont think I'm doing anything wrong by wearing shorts or a bakini or showing my arms, that's how I was raised. I do like these "Christian" fashion styles for women. They are certainly better than that style where the woman's waist is exposed and hangs out over her jeans' waistline (usually accompanied by a butterfly tattoo over the lower back). It looks comical, unearthly and isn't even remotely alluring. You have to be in a famine for the waist to not hang over your jeans making you look fat - there's no other way you can do it!

Well, as a young Christian woman, I did not picture any of these clothes on myself nor do I think going completely against the grain of fashion (let's be honest) equates to modesty. Wearing skinny jeans is not synonymous with impurity, this is a surefire way to alienate young girls because all I saw was, not many looks, but one.
