@bmw320i123 It wasn't launch control. You hold the brake pedal while in gear (mine was an automatic) and then depress the accelerator half-way.
After it revs up to about 2k, floor it and release brake pedal at the same time. Be careful not to hold it for too long though (more than 5 seconds) as this puts a lot of stress on the torque converter.
I just started tracking my 2002 M3. It has some mods. But I fine tracking your car once a month is good for the driving soul. Stops you from pushing highway speeds. Well sometimes.

@320Darkside จริงๆ เกียร์มันเปลี่ยนอยู่ตรงเส้นขีดๆ ก่อน redline นั่นแหละครับ แต่จังหวะที่มัน shift รอบก็จะตีขึ้นไปอีกหน่อย (ลองสังเกตช่วงที่วิ่งเกียร์ 4 > 5)
ถ้าไม่งั้นลอง reset เกียร์ดูครับ บางทีเกียร์มันก็เพี้ยนๆ เอ๋อๆ ให้เสียบกุญแจ แล้วกดสตาร์ทแต่ไม่ต้องเหยียบเบรก แล้วก็เหยียบคันเร่งให้สุด ค้างไว้ 30 วินาทีครับ แล้วก็ลองสตาร์ทเครื่องใหม่ดู
