i feel for you, this bike is not for highway travel, local commute..get a v-strom for highway. This bike will go 75+ but I would never go on the highway if there were other cars. Just not enough power to keep up
suzuki 400 sm is best bike for the money, unless you do extreme riding and jumping get a suzuki. otherwise spend more $ for an aprillia 2 stroke or husky or ktm. it costs ALOT more money to upkeep and maintaine these bikes though. Only way to really tell the diff is if you go off road. the more expensive bikes are lighter and hence more money

if its your first bike then go for the drz400sm hey are made to last unlike the others great bike fast enough to beet sportbikes in the twisties.
