Puhumattakaan CX sarjan Corsairista.......... Kovaa puhut että ei kannata tinkiä virtalähteestä niin sitten ostetaan jotain CX oksennusta. Halvat elkot, heikko 12v linja ja kaiken lisäksi 80 plus sertifikaatti puuttuu. Mitä nyt tällä hetkellä CX500 kustantaa 70€ kun Seasonic valmistajan sisuksilla varustettu XFX Core Edition 550w on sen 59,40€. Kannattaisko ensi kerralla kysyä MuroBBS:stä..

Miksi ihmeessä H67 + 2500K. En ymmärrä.. En vittu ymmärrä.. Halvemmalla olisi saanut Gigabyten Z68 lankun jolla olisitte voineet kellottaa noista sandyistä löysät pois suhteellisen nopeasti ja samalla kyky käyttää prosessorin integroitua näytönohjainta... Tällä hetkellä tuo Asucksin P8H67-M lankun hinta 107€ kun sillä välin Gigabyten Z68P-DS3 102€. Äly hoi älä jätä. Ja varsinkin jos teillä kiire on renderöidä niin varsin tyhmää ajaa noita prosessoreita vakiona..

@DO5TMX I've had something like 12 cheap PSUs blow up on me over the years (I've had a lot of computers..), so yeah, for any real work, don't go cheap on the PSU. Or the motherboard, for that matter (the power regs on the cheap stuff like ASRock aren't exactly reliable, leading to anything from software instability to the magic smoke coming out).

So, as it happened, we decided to change 8 of the i5 2500K's into the i7 2600K.

This is purely because Lightwave renders around 40% faster with the hyper-threading. The price for the i7 is about 50% more expensive, but at this point of the production the time is the most important factor.

So now we have 2 x i5 2500K and 8 x i7 2600K. 16GB in all of them, and no need to buy GPUs since both those CPU models have internal graphics processor.

Wow, really hate the stabilisation effect, the blur/shimmer is horrible, really horrible. Much more distracting than just shake in my opinion.

Try the Sharkoon Rebel 9. It's dirt cheap and very well ventilated.

Are there any settings for the stabilization? IMHO some stabilizing is ok and good, but this goes too far... that blurring is very distracting. Does the original video look like a Michael Bay film?

Ran this trough the new stabilization tool and the video is now the edited version. A lot less shake, but some strange effects that look like Samuli is about to break trough the interdimensional barrier...

What do you think?

@energiaproductions the stabilization is great, I think the problem is the phone you filmed it with, the shaky frames are aligned nicely with the others, but still blurred (I guess better tools drop those and recalculate them using the surrounding frames…)

@energiaproductions It's because the shake adds motion blur to that frames, the software stabilizer track the movemente and fix it, but can do none with that blurred frames...

Any particular reason why you didn't go for anything AMD? 2600K's can't be beaten, but I5's have very competitive mirror cpu's from AMD.

Also, everyone listen to Samuli. PSU's are extremely important.

@DMadAce in our tests intel has been faster for rendering in the current batch of cpus. We do have a bunch of AMD X6s we built earlier.
