@funkyflights Yes, it is a choice, but how would you know that its hurtful, if you don't feel any remorse or guilt? When I was a kid, I threw away my classmates pencil bag because he was getting on my nerves. His dad beat the shit out of him, and he was sad. I can't explain it, but I felt guilt, and I cried to my best friend, and confessed to him. That part came naturally. I did not choose to learn from it, but rather it was within me. Psychopaths do the same thing even after going to jail.
