@bellabethjoe have u tried setting the L and R as the starting and ending points of the copied patch/loop??? If you have one on top of the other it just wont copy anything cause the starting and ending points of the loop will be set on the same place
@FickleDubstep make sure you move the L and the R loop slider to however long you want the beat to be. sometimes it doesnt work if you dont have that done
Can anyone please answer this??? I'm also having this problem!

I got a question, i've got redrum in the combinator, and when i copy pattern to track, it doesn't show up on the Combinator lane, instead, a new redrum track appears and the pattern copied into it. how do i stop this new Redrum lane from appearing, i want the pattern to go straight into the combinator lane. anyone know how to do this, please? thanks guys
dave help! when i go into my folder to get my sample out for the vocal loop, i open the folder and reason shows it as empty but if i go into it through my desktop everything is there

@JulioAlmeidaYT click on the little pencil and draw a block in the note lane. Then go back to the arrow cursor mode and double click on the said block. Then go back to pencil again, when you can see the keyboard, and you're good to go. I only recently figured out how to do this myself, it was very frustrating
On redrum what numbers did you put the "phone sound" and the "woo" on? Anyways thanks for the tutorials very helpful ive been useing reason alot more since I watched your videos.
hey man, I notice that in all of these tutorials, when you open a new equipment piece, you always "initialize it" and the open it. by curiosity, what does initializing do?
Btw, I love all your tutorials - soo helpful. Thanks!
@valax300 Initializing resets the device to its default value. So if you open a subtractor it will automatically have a stupid bass patch on it so when you intialize it then you have all the setting returned to default and you can start building a new synth patch. You don't have to initialize it... You can build a synth from an existing patch and then save, but I think Dangerous Dave is initializing everytime to make it more clear how the synth is made from a clean slate.... or maybe its habit.
Dont listen to any criticisms of what you've done here. You've done a great service to people who want to make this music. Anyone who says otherwise is being a nitpicker.
I have a question... whats the difference in using the combinator and not using the combinator? is it just for ease of use in editing and having it organized?... btw your tutorials are the most helpful ive found on youtube
@Fperez04 the combinator helps from getting cluttered. its not mandatory to use it, but it's harder to throw on later than at the start. regardless of whether you like this guy's tracks, he's got the environment of Reason nailed.
@Fperez04 The combinator allows all the stuff put into it to be able to be combined as one channel and so thus everything in a combinator will be one channel on your main mixer. Also you can save the "patches" of a combinator and reopen them. So if you have a hundred different things in a combinator that make a sound that you like then you don't have to do it over again next time you want to use that synth. Just open an empty combinator, click on it then open the pach of the steup you want.
..swings like a married couple who don't find each other attractive anymore but are too scared of the potential lack of social security to ask for a divorce.... love it. thank you.
This has been the first set of tutorials that has really given me inspiration to actually do something with reason other than frustrate myself. Watching the tutorial I was reminded I had forgotten to apply the basics, which are essential. Many Thanks and go verily!!
Can you explain where you find your drum sounds, you have your kits but I don't know where to find the sounds. Most of the drums and stuff I can improv but I can't find the "ah" T.T
