MAN, I didn't even know he was dead. :( I was born in 1990 and Little House on the Prairie used to come on tbs every morning and I'd watch barney and that. I wanted to marry Pa from the age of 2 until 9. So disappointing to know he's dead.... and been dead almost 20 years. :(

I just read a few minutes ago that Mark had died 3 months ago at the age of 60 (hugely sad shock for me). No one hasn't found out yet what killed him though.

He was 12 years younger than his beloved adoptive father, taken in by Michael at 7.5 years old (Mike was 20 at the time).

Rest in Peace, Mr. Mike and Mark Landon. You are greatly missed. *sigh*

I grew up with Little House on the Prairie, was my favourite show as a kid, I absolutely adored Michael Landon, I happen to be in LA on my first major overseas trip (from NZ)when he died so that may me feel special to have been close to where he was. Michael Landon's role as Charles Ingalls is something I personally will ever forget. I grew up on that show and looked forward to it every week, I still watch it to this day. His accomplishments will never be forgotten.
