dam i remember this oldschool,I was trying to thing where i heared the remake, but it wasnt a remake ,but they took the sound and beat the group Today(girl i got my eyes on you)
@jayesser I had the song in one of my old funk LPs (Not CD or Tape) back in the days. Regarding the video, it was originally uploaded by someone else so the credit goes to him/her!
One of the funkiest tunes to come from the SOLAR stable. Produced by Leon F. Sylvers III, and co-written by Kevin Spencer, William Shelby, & Wardell Potts, Jr. on the drums. Wore the grooves out on this one!
Such a gem this is. So unique. So funky. It's GALACTIC! It's HYPNOTIC! Indeed, that's all the many ingredients that made SOLAR a remarkable sound. Thanks in part to the brilliant Leon Sylvers III and Dynasty members Kevin Spencer and Wardell Potts, Jr.
This is what I am talking about we don't have this out there today!! I am 30 years old and I love this song I refuse to listen to the radio because of they don't put anything out close to this funk!! I am about to put on my tuxedo and chill at the starbucks much love to the old school!!!
This song is a classic!!! I remember this record when i was 17 years old. Back then my generation has real singers that has soul unlike the singers of today.
Man, i hear music like this from the early 80's and i just wanna cry. Those were some good time. Makes me feel sad for this generation of kids today. They don't even dance anymore.
Been trying to find this song since 1982; radio would never say the name of the song or who sang it. FINALLY!!!!

This 1982 R&B song is so smooth, with a funky groove, the bassline is all that, and Carrie Lucas has always done good music, grade A 80's R&B.
