An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG @ samzurick*dot*com contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers". THANKS!!
I'm still trying to figure out exactly what 'ecstatic truth' means but I'm wondering if we can use the term to justify some of the historical inaccuracies in 'Rescue Dawn'. Some of the liberties, even. Or is 'ecstatic truth' only a term that is applicable to his documentaries?
That feeling when you hear your favorite song; view a photo album of a beloved person now dead, when your most beautiful, meaningful experiences return to you and it's like you are together, with them again. "The essential, right [without] detour ... the deepest essential that defines human beings." Just as when epic poems, and bards preserved history and recited from memory thousands of lines; never exactly, factually the same, but still capturing the spirit of the ancestors just as artfully.
The important part of this idea of ecstatic truth is that truth is not the same thing as facts. Herzog has actually said that standard cinema verite documentaries offer superficial truths, the truths of accountants. You can look up Herzog's Minnesota Declaration. One of his best lines:
"There are deeper strata of truth in cinema, and there is such a thing as poetic, ecstatic truth. It is mysterious and elusive, and can be reached only through fabrication and imagination and stylization."

It's such a loose, ambiguous term then. Allows for a lot of ...well, liberties on historical factuality.

I would, if I had it. But as far as I know, he is the only one who owns a copy of it.
