BUT i highly doubt it would do 0 to 60 in 2.5 sec considering how much power it has, RWD, and so lightweight. this car would porbably spin the tires in all gears. and as for the 10k redline? yeah i highly doubt that too. this isnt some 3 litre formula 1 car. 10k rpm with twin turbos seems a bit high.

only the veyron has actually proved it can do 250mph+ . All the other 250+ wannabe's haven't proven anything. If you're rich enough to afford the Land Shark find a quiet, straight bit of road and let us know.

Actually Sledgehammer did it back in 1988 at 254 mph and then there is Ultimate Aero SSC that pulled 257 mph and of course veyron that did it at 253 mph. As for the red devil Mosler you are right they havent did any speed test yet, its just claims. But with 1800 hp engine and good aerodynamic body I dont see why it can't possibly do it.

the Sledgehammer didn't count as it's not a production car, just a modified Corvette, or else the Mclaren F1 never would have been the fastest car in the world. My only problem with the 250+ cars, the Mosler, the Keating TKR etc, is that they've just been built to beat the Veyron. The Veyron is just as fast but its comfortable, stylish and luxurious too.

this car has 2500 hp and it weighs 1886lbs and it runs on a lot of things and the specs r 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds and 0 to 154 in 4.2 seconds and the top speed is 305mph and if u change the aero dynamics it goes 375mph and it has a theoritical top speed of 400mph but i think its just for show until all of that is proven but its a nice car

cooling, traction, aerodynamics, reliability, engine problems.

Bugatti spent years developing a whole car to be able to withstand 240mph + with SPECIAL tyres.

Now someone is claiming 300+mph can be done with an old mosler body.

Simple mate: the callaway SLEDGEHAMMER (please verify your facts and grammar before posting) was a tuned corvette and did NOT do 20mpg.

and to be frank, the difference between a veyron and the sledgehammer is that the veyron is a full production from scratch, the sledgehammer is not. its a tuned twin turbo corvette.

Im not sure what your argument is? which car is better? neither, because neither of us can afford to own either car. best we can do is speculate on facts.

Callaway was a Regular Production Option...it WAS a production car. it hit 254.76 mph, and i don't doubt 20+ mpg on the highway. there are plenty of 11 second Buick GNX getting 25 mpg. 20 years later, it takes the Bugatti twice as many cylinders and turbos to reach the same speed? is that progress?

this mosler is wicked...and Chevy powered.

oh come on now you throw enough horsepower at something and you can go as fast as you want, assuming the body doesnt fly apart, theoretically its possible to do that fast with that horsepower/weight ratio.

I love both Mosler and Nelson cars. If i didn't, i wouldn't have been wanting to watch this, i was curious. Any car doing 250mph is impressive, 300+ is quite hard to achieve on a road car.

It's an Intense Automotive Designs modification based on the MT900 GTR... They added 2 huge turbos that make its 600 hp become into 2500 hp!!! It's suposed that its max speed is about 487km/h and with 118 octanes race gas i could reach 600 Km/h!
