If you are not used to like gay characters ok, he is your first favourite gay but i do not see why everyone should comment about that. There's actually a novel with Aido. I have read a translation and theres a girl who he seems to have quite an affection with. And now it seems that something fishy is happening with him and Sayori. In fact i think its quite obvious. After all if i remember well Aido just said that he loves Kaname. And now for anyone who reads the manga he has stand against him....he might like boys we don't know but, i'm sure he likes girls as a boy.

How I wish Literature teachers could explain the concept of homoeroticism within the Western classical tradition to those of you who seem to lack a basic understanding. By understanding that, you'll understand why Aido has that weird habit of collecting "trashes" resulting from Kaname expressing anger. Of course, it hurts physically when Kaname slaps Aido across the face, but Aido actually enjoys being slapped because Kaname the God is personally punishing him - better than being ignored.
