  • This video stinks to high hell...

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • This is stupid and unrealistic. Students are in the classroom to learn. Teacher are there to help them learn. Stuff happens, but the lack of respect and lack of interest in education makes it difficult to help large numbers of kids who are at different levels to learn. Teachers get a bad rap most of the time. Actually, it take the teacher, child and parent working as a team and taking responsibility for education. That's not always easy to find.

  • The thought of any of the people in this video attaining a job teaching somewhere scares me. Why not deal with realistic scenarios? Everything demonstrated here is overacted and way over the top.

  • Often times children are just not motivated by the materials or the individual that is presents them to them. Learning has become a stress induced experience for lots of children. Because some of us don't understand that there are different learning styles. Providing good differential learning materials that allow a child to feel relaxed helps eliminate anxiety, increases confidence and fosters spontaneous learning. Most important is self confidence and harsh judgment destroys it.

  • I agree with Dylvente, If you're going to show the bad a good should follow.

  • Same thing I've said with other such videos: it would be better to show an example of good classroom management after showing the bad examples. It's easy to talk about good classroom management and what not to do, but it's more challenging to model an effective response to the disrespectful behavior so common in classrooms.

  • I love the beginning you can actually hear the genius directing this crap saying "action",

  • I agree that it's important to treat students with respect and that yelling is not necessary.

  • I teach English in the middle east and I can't see how anyone would not find this video helpful. If you think this video is useless why would you waste time commenting on it.? Try teaching a room full of Arab 5th graders for a month or so and you will be searching youtube to find this stupid video.!

  • @lodaway teaching arab kids is easy..they're usually well-behaved. come teach in NY CIty for an hour.

  • this is like porn build up or something. doesnt help atall. and everyone's so noisy. so this sucks (no pun intended) both ways.

  • Sorry, but this is stupid.

  • @thekellers907 sorry but you are not understood what they are trying to convey...

  • All great stuff, but it assumes that most of the students in class are actually interested in learning. In most cases, this is true, but I teach an alt. ed guitar class. I'm glad I didn't fit the bill of any of your "teachers" ^_^. I don't yell, I don't accuse students or make up ridiculous punishments which don't match the behavior. However, the only time learning happens in the class is when the most disruptive 10 students are gone for the day. I feel like I've tried everything with them.

  • It's called being human.

  • "I'm gonna rip your knee caps off and feed 'em to you like bagels!" LMAOOOOOOOOOO!!

I'm a new teacher and found my myself slowly turning into Mrs. Trexler. Thanks for this vid, I know what to absolutely avoid as I become a teacher.

  • P.S. I hope you guys got and A++!

  • This is simplistic.

  • This is fucking hilarious! Somebody finally got it right. Yeah, man. I'm a teacher and that's what I would like to do and say at times.

  • This vid is about what teachers really WANT to do with misbehaving students. I can't imagine how to deal with students like the ones cited by MathTeacherGuy... just send them to someone so as not to distract other students' mode of learning.

  • that was pretty good.

  • It's not easy being teacher, theory is easier than done

  • haha. er. no.

  • Excellent video. This has really showed me how to be with my students. I think the techniques you show will work equally well with the 7th grader who comes to school drunk, the 8th grader who sells prescription drugs at school, and the adhd kid who comes in with a pound bag of candy every day. I would still like a technique for the girl convicted of assault with deadly force -- perhaps a sequel is in the works.

  • Very funny guys! I am a real teacher cracking up here. Hopefully each of you earned an "A" on your, ahh, college final???
