  • I shot a VEPR that was imported years ago, it shot a 2 MOA group w/ a KOBRA red dot sight. It is heavy with the RPK receiver and barrel, but reliable as a rock.

  • @extremus2

2 MOA at 100 yards? Not bad with a red dot to be honest. You would have even better groupings with a scope with magnification :) VEPRs are accurate rifles that are just as reliable as any AK out there.

  • this guy sounds like seth rogens

  • Those Veprs cost a lot though

  • @weiss27md quality firearms are not cheap. veprs are among the highest quality AKs you can buy.

  • BTW , Vepr (вепрь) means Wild Boar in Russian.

  • zastava arms...

want to see some of those to

  • those guys were giving up the info.

  • wow what an ugly rifle

  • @drunkcookiemonster wtf are you talking about, that shit looked sweet as fuck.

  • Saiga<--AK

    Vepr'<--RPK

  • now they look alot better than these black cheap looking guns

  • Where is walker?

  • Long story short,I like em.

  • I like my good old fashioned AK-47. I put Woodsmith furniture on her and she looks real nice now.

  • They do have them in 7.62x54r look at the Atlantic Firearms website.

  • Looks like these will be much easier to convert. Hopefully they aren't very expensive.

  • @AngeredKabar I saw a vepr at a gun show for $1100 one time. I Don't know if that's normal or what.

  • Wish they had them in 7.62x54r

  • Nice video I would just get ak

  • How much does one run for? I was thinking of hunting with a ak, but this looks alot more legit lol.

  • Did you see or hear anything about VEPR-12s?

  • I wanted a x39 vepr until I found out it didn't take standard mags. Can a bullet guide be added like a saiga?

  • MSRP???

  • LoL "from Yugo, Serbia" .... from USSR, Russia

  • @ShootAndC

    Zastava Arms are from Serbia

    the Vepr rifle is Ukranian

  • @drrogla these veprs are russian. don't confuse it with the ukranian vepr you looked up on wikipedia, which is a completely different firearm. these are molot veprs.

  • @ms3bani whoops, sorry bout that...

I was looking at the guns in the video and they dint look right for the vepr's I had in mind (ukranian bullpup desing)

You learn something new every day :D

  • @Humberto4790

    no, different

  • @Humberto4790 not at all. should have been obvious from the video, they gave you all the details you needed to tell it's not just another saiga.

    veprs are fantastic AKs.

  • @Humberto4790 No. Vepr design has grown (somewhere back in history) from RPK machine gun, while Saiga series based on AK rifle.

The manufacturer is completely different. Veprs made by Molot factory in Vyatskiye Polyany, Saigas coming from Izhevsk.

BTW vepr means wild boar in Russian.

  • Beautiful stock.
