I shot a VEPR that was imported years ago, it shot a 2 MOA group w/ a KOBRA red dot sight. It is heavy with the RPK receiver and barrel, but reliable as a rock.

2 MOA at 100 yards? Not bad with a red dot to be honest. You would have even better groupings with a scope with magnification :) VEPRs are accurate rifles that are just as reliable as any AK out there.

@Humberto4790 No. Vepr design has grown (somewhere back in history) from RPK machine gun, while Saiga series based on AK rifle.

The manufacturer is completely different. Veprs made by Molot factory in Vyatskiye Polyany, Saigas coming from Izhevsk.

BTW vepr means wild boar in Russian.
