I wonder what this would sound like if you were emotionally invested from the very beginning. It seems like you're focusing more on technique and words and finally let go towards the middle and end. yes, they do :) they help with controlling your voice and learning to switch from your head to your chest voice at the right time(plus theyre really fun!)when you listen to tapes from your first lesson and then listen to yourself after a year or so you notice a really big difference! you also become more comfortable on stage if you have recitals!
