  • Karaite Judaism is more correct than Rabbinic Judaism, but to follow true religion one must follow the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. The Qur'an was sent to clarify what was in the Torah and Gospel and correct changes made by man. Also, the Talmud used by Rabbinical Jews, the Hadiths used by Sunnis and Shiites are not valid.

  • Is it true Rabbininic jews are Ukrainian converts from 2000 years ago, therefore they don't follow true law, just the law of evangelists?

  • הרב אליהו מרזוק הרב הראשי ליהודים הקראים עושה הבדלה באשדוד

  • when i was growing up, there was no ''Orthodox''jewish untill the conservative movement came to be, when I hear the word orthodox to this day i think Of Greek orthodox, but todays orthodox has become out of touch with the average Jew, more and more jews will be taking a close look at kariaite judiam as a new expression of the jewish faith

  • @donmoseslerman I agree with you as a jew i would like to be a karaite shavua tov

  • Go to Israel You learn more and you will approuve the Karaism

  • Unbelievable how similar the words of their havdala is to the Orthodox Jewish version.

Even more striking is that the blessing he said for the cookie was WORD FOR WORD the same as what Orthodox Jews say, plus the repeated "Barukh... Melekh ha-Olam" which he used so many times in this video... standard among Orthodox Jews.

I have no idea what extent of this is original to Karaites, and what extent is a result of adopting Orthodox Jewish practices. Either way, thanks for posting.

  • most of the karaite prayers are taken from the OT and some are written by karaite sages and rabbis until the 19th C...but you're right, most of the books that i've read say that both karaites and rabbanists borrowed from each other (the karaites borrowed the psalms written by Yehuda ha-Levi and the rabannists borrowed a few songs like "ki esherah Shabbat", "it dodim Kallah" and "Adon Olam"

  • Pls Upload more videos very intersting

  • Why they Wear a kippa, where in the Law we can find that commandment?

    Shalom end todah.

  • I'm almost certain that they don't consider wearing a kippa a true obligation... except perhaps for kohanim (descendents Aharon brother of Moses), since this appears almost explicitly in the text of the Torah. But aside from this, where in the written Torah do they learn about havdala?

  • There are 3 pillars in traditional Qaraite Judaism: 1) the Tanakh's text; 2) logical analogies & inferences from certain places in that text; 3) tradition/custom. Havadalah belongs to the 3rd pillar.

No problem having such a custom not mentioned in the Tanakh as long as it's not forced on anybody.

  • There is no such law.

Covering one's head acknowledges that Hashem is watching up.

Over the years, the "kippah" got smaller and smaller, so today it looks like a coin balanced on your head.

When I have to cover my head, I wear a large Bukharian kippah that I got in Israel. I've met a lot of Ashkenazi Jews who don't approve of it, though.

  • Gracias por el video amigo esta muy interesante e ilustrativo Bevakasha
