Or if you want small and compact then FLIPOUT is a good option too. If QWERTY isn't a definite requirement the new DEFY (available in a month) is also a good bet. Thanks for you interest.

@imdrockstar13 you need Motorola Media Link. Free software download (if not part of your CD in box) plus a a cable is all that is required, and then you can move music and other media files back and forth between phone and pc.

@motorola software bugs,battery was horrible, at&t locked it down alot, was really slow at times, had a screen that scratched really easily, android 1.5... i was going to get a droid x to replace it but motoblur ruined the droid x in my eyes. htc incredible is my new choice!

This phone is every bit as good as it looks in this teaser. I love the backflip so much. It really works perfectly. Not one complaint, except for that I would love a CPU and Ram upgrade in the future. and PLEASE push 2.1 soon! We all can't wait. Thanks for the awesome android phone, motorola!

@Tinkan88 .... so I don't know your specific circumstances, or location or, operator used, but there are other things you can do directly on different settings that can optimise battery life in a day (screen light, wifi, gps) and also there are apps in the Android Marketplace that can also do clever things to help optimise battery performance. Best i can say off the cuff. All the best.

MOTOBLUR is the overarching software service that pulls together all of your messaging, emails, social status updates and then streams them to the homescreen of the phone, as well as cleverly integrating them into your contacts folder and other relevant parts of the phone. We call "happenings" all the social updates you receive from your friends, whether those be from Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LastFM and in some countries also Bebo or Tuente or Skyrock. Make sense?

also for the text messages can you have them sorted by contact the pantech impact can but the pantech matrix cannot so i was just questioning that as well

text messages are threaded on the device, so if you look up a contact it will show you all the text message conversations you have had with that person, equally you can see all other relevant communication threads (eg email, facebook) that you have had too..hope that helps

The keyboard looks like a one piece hard rubber design thats weather and dustproof. which makes it more durable than most phone keyboards. I thought it looked ugly at first. but there are little design perks like front facing dual purpose camera for video conferencing (if ATT allows it) trackpad, no need for a dock. but then again, you can't put a case on this phone I like I can with my cliq
