I saw J. Richman at Bookie's in Detroit around 1980 or so, without the Modern Lovers. It was just him, a strat, and a little practice amp. There were maybe 30 people there, but he played his heart out. At intermission, he took to the tiny dance floor and danced by himself to the songs the d.j. played. Everyone just watched, transfixed. After the show, he stuck around and had a beer and talked to everyone. A most unique and memorable night.

I'm not sure, but I know Die Hard With A Vengeance came out in May 1995, and it looks like one of the final scenes of that movie. Notice how the frame of this clip moves inward for that part - I think it's just footage of the inside of the movie theater showing that film. However, I haven't seen that movie in a number of years so I'm not entirely sure.
