I think you can expect from a mentally healthy grown-up, to basically know, what he´s doing and to a certain extent judge his own abilities! So if he pretends to be a good singer, goes out on stage and delivers a hilarious performance like that, he has to live with people´s reactions! That´s what we all have to do anyways! If he had been good, they would have told him that either! So either he just wanted attention or he has a mental problem. In the latter case he shouldnt be laughed at, true!
