  • you need to rub it down a bit harder. It will not magically remove the scratch by itself. I tried this product on a faded headlamps & it worked out well. where's the muscle.

  • you are doing it so wrong.... stop expecting things to work for you.. put down the chips and video game controller and learn properly ... did this on my buddys jetta after it got scratched and scuffed. used a simoniz buffer and then polished by hand. cant even see where the scratches were. but i laugh at you because you think you wasted your money:P

  • really? this is pathetic..

  • Ive used this before and no matter how much I work it in it doesn't work.

  • R.T.F.M!

  • For reference video @4:38 , terrible......

  • I'd have to agree with @tony76ms , you didn't even work the product in, funny actually that's the only reason why I watched your stupid review. Wanted to see how you applied it...tony saw what I saw when you were at the part with the rubstrip and put the camera on the floor and right after just 'dabbed' the rear fender .... instructions might have sucked but you suck even more for giving a bad review without knowing more...I've used nu finish before for quick fixes and never had bad results.

  • a little bit of 2000 grit wet sanding and I use rubbing compound, then i go over with Meguiars swirl X and finish it with some good polish then wax!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @T5brickv yep thats the one and only way to do it! not this BS in a bottle

  • Copied from NuFinish site "you need to thoroughly work the product into the surface and create a certain amount of friction to activate the product. Simply applying the product to the affected area won’t repair the scratched surface"

The best product in the world won't work if you don't work it in good. I give you a thumbs down for this video.

  • @tony76ms funny thing is that I tried it again on my truck, aside from the fact the shit wipes off when you rub it just once, I still kept working it in (even though it already wiped off) and it still didn't work.

  • @FordNissanChevy Gimme a break dude, I just saw the way you "worked it in" and I would never let you near my car. If you're just trying to point out the bad directions on the bottle then that's one thing, but if you truly don't know how to buff out scratches then you just proved it.

  • @tony76ms how did you see it? Are you my neighbor?

  • @FordNissanChevy Your just a kid huh, never even sat behind the wheel probably.

  • @VirusPF56 yes im 3 and a half years old and luv cawwa dooty modurn warefare

  • That product is a rip-off

  • i try it and doesnt work

  • I use the same stuff it sorta works on small scratches but its not that great. Its more like wax

  • you guys are expecting too much out of it. If the scratch goes THROUGH the clear coat, meaning you can see metal, it wont work. Nothing will. I got some for shits and giggles when my clear coat was scratched from wiping off bird shit. Worked just fine. However, a $2.00 tub of turtlewax rubbing compound will do the same.

  • same here, i just bought it today. so far.. no success

  • I purchased mine for $11.49. Just tried it this AM (6-16-2011). I agree with this video, a rip-off!

  • You have to work the product into the scratch Einstein, then buff to finish.

  • It ONLY works on CLEAR COAT, not paint !!! You HAVE TO rub it in and BUFF it out ! I used it on my wifes car, it works great. Maybe you should read the directions.

  • You have to RUB that stuff in and buff it out ! I used it on my wifes car and it works great !

  • You're not doing it right

  • You expect it to work just by putting it like that and wait??! This is called "scratch remover", not "miracle" :D

  • @spectr49 i did what the directions said.

  • @spectr49 thats what the directions say i use scratch doctor alot. it works buh you cant just let it sit you have to work it a bit

  • Dude,

You're not even using it correctly! How do you expect to get rid of scratches by merely rubbing a little bit on for a sec and just leaving it!!! You need to rub the heck out of it until it is almost gone! It's when the polish gets a little warm that it just starts to work! Do it two or three times and those scraches will disappear! I guarantee it... Rub it on and keep rubbing until the polish is almost dried up and then keep going! Thats how to polish!

  • Use meguiars number 7 final glaze, removes most sun scratches and stuff ive used it on.

  • I didn't know I phones could take HD vids....

  • @JakeDaSnakeFilms its an ipod nano

  • use crc cut & polish that works the best if u can get it we have it in australia

  • NO. IT DOESN'T. ITS A RIP-OFF.

  • your video does not work

  • @john1240able try clearing the browser history

  • plast-x removes scratches

  • that's pretty queer.

  • Is that the ipod touch? Also have u tried that scratch product Billy Mays endorsed?

  • @spartarools ipod nano, and i dont know which one billy mays endorsed.

  • @FordNissanChevy Its called "fix it". I think there's a review of it if u look it up

  • all them products oly work if the clearcoat is scratched. if is into the paint that shit dont work.

  • @drummer2fear yeah some were too deep, but there were some minor clear coat scratches there, so minor the camera couldnt pick em up, this shit didnt do a thing to them
