  • You and your bird have excellent taste in music. Galahs are hilarious! They can be dangerous in groups though, I had 2 of them rip one of my shoes to pieces.

My dad had a macaw that would actually answer the phone, as in walk over to the receiver, pick it up with her foot, and start talking into it.

  • silly ppl galahs are native to australia there are a heap of them at the local high school

  • Malaguena Salerosa, awesome. i'm obsessed with that song right now

  • awwww so cute, have you got him as an answering machine message? if not that would be an awesome idea ^^

  • they usually dance like that

  • Cool!

  • This is so cute,it makes me miss my bird,he died after a bad falls that broke his leg sadly. :'[

  • Malagena Salerosa was playing in the background! :D I hadn't heard of that song until Kill Bill or was it once upon a time in mexico... They're both in there. Anyway, what a cute Galah!

  • I thought u said ur galah died?

  • i got a new one like a couple of days later

this one is in excellent condition

  • ic... please look after it properly. and if its at all sake for god sakes get it to a vet!

  • Great Video, Beautiful bird. So cute!

  • What happened to him??? What were you feeding it? Did you give it fresh water regularly?

  • why, oh WHY didn't you take him to see the vet instead of just sitting there WATCHING him slowly and painfully die??

  • i just got my galah like 2 weeks ago but i dont know how to teach it to talk, its a baby but i dont know how old exactly. i want it to talk, can u let me know how u tought your one to talk please. thanx

  • I didn't teach him to say Hello although he says heaps of stuff. Birds will usually just pick it up if you spend enough time with them (sitting on your shoulder etc...around 30 minutes every day). I taught him to say "bye bye" by giving him a seed whenever I left the house and saying "bye bye" to him.

  • how old was your bird when it first started talking?? today i put my bird on my shoulder for like 20 mins like u suggested but wen i took him off i saw a pile of pooh lol. what should i say the most to my bird, hello??? and is it alright to give it a pumpkin seed cause its a baby so i jst feed it galah food.

  • @anmlvk I taught my bird how to say things by his food.Every morning while I changed his food,I'd talk to him and he'd pick up what I'd say to him if I said it regularly every day, just spend time with him/her and talk to them, they'll pick it up so fast. :]

  • @XxXEsotericx my first galah died, i got another one, and ive had this one for about 2-3 years. he talks now, he says lots of different things, and he dances.

  • @anmlvk Repetition, repetition and more reptition. Although the smarter the bird, the less you have to repeat what you want him to learn. Whatever you do, if you don't want him to say a phrase, don't say it within earshot of him. Sometimes they pick things up after hearing them only once

  • By the way - your galah has a very crystal clear speaking voice.

  • That's cute. I've just inherited a galah from my grandmother. It says a lot when you leave the room, but not much to your face.

That's a great food dish - my galah always tips the water dish over and deliberately throws the seed out the cage so I come over to him.

  • nicee!!!!!

  • hahaha! the parrot dance is HILARIOUS and AMAZING!!

  • I love Galahs. Have one myself. Thanks for the good footage.

  • Great, nice galah!
