The graphics are far more detailed in FSX, but in terms of flight simulation, I think FS2004 is just as realistic and immersing. And in the end, a smooth FS2004 is 10000x more fun to play than a choppy FSX with all the graphic settings turned to low.

trust me man you would be fine.. i have wayy lower specs and i can run it with auotgen and scenery on normal and get 30 fps:) fs2004 would run much better on your system than fsx... i would expect about a 5X increase in performance and fps:)

i really like that landing (5/5). but you were just a little off the mif=dlle of the runway. although it was very smooth and AWESOME GRAPHICS MAN! try using Fraps and i request you make another with the same plane and airport. Then i want to see those graphics!

A very nice approach (although how you track the ILS is of course impossible to know) but a bit unfortunate on the landing. You flared too high which caused the plane to 'float' and then 'drop' too hard onto the runway. Try and flare a bit lower next time (20-30 feet) and you'll do even better.

I use Active Camera to get my wingviews, but its the FS9 version, b/c I don't think FSX is a big improvement as in ground breaking, to upgrade.
