We beat these kids in competition. They're good. Unfortunately they are quite boring.

@gmac2392 We're not watching the same video. Don't get me wrong they stepped it up for this competition because i know for a fact they don't do choreography. That being said it's obviously forced. You need to be able to entertain without planned movement. Having fun and feeling the music makes others do the same.

@broadwayboricua I hate to disagree with you because you make some good points, but you are too bias. Audiences consistently "loved" this arrangement and silly choreography. I know it's not saying much, but it also won best choreography in the semifinals of this competition (the video shown here),beating approximately 23 other songs or 7 other groups for that award. No, the chips don't "do" choreography, but it's required by the competition...Not an easy task for a group of college guys :)

@raptic In all honesty I am a firm and avid supporter of any and all A Cappella. I myself am a member of 2 groups. I may seem biased but my opinion of this group was formed far before we ever competed. I respect them as a vocal group but I feel as performers they are sadly a bit lack luster. You should check out my group The Guerrillas. Anything in 2011(when the group actually developed. We maintain good quality singing and incorporate movement and often choreography consistently. @raptic An extremely well thought out witty response. I 'm certain some clarification might make you understand. In other words I'll dumb it down for you asshole. I saw this group perform before I ever joined A Cappella. The first time I saw I thought exactly what I think now. These guys sound good but they are boring. I attended a performing arts middle and high shcool and am currently completeing my degree in music education with a concentration in vocal music. I'd say I know a lot clown.

@broadwayboricua I don't know who you think you are, but you really don't know what you're talking about. ...and i mean that in the most non-rude way possible. But i mean, like...literally, you're wrong. Yes you can have an opinion and that's fine and dandy. ..But the Chips have ALWAYS been known for their entertainment value in comparison to other a cappella groups...in fact its only been in the last 2 years that theyve become widely respected for their vocals/arrangements.

@broadwayboricua i mean for god's sake, just read a review of this competition. Every review will peg the Chips as the most fun group to watch, marking that (not vocals) as one of their biggest strengths. Lastly, you really need to get off your high horse with your education. You will really prove to others that you're educated when you can prove to them that you are smart enough to understand that graduating from a specific program from a specific school proves very little of anything.
