I've owned every guitar except a PRS and the only ones that can handle heavy tremolo action without f'ing up the tuning are double-locking...I gather this is no different...I love the specs of this guitar and I played one recently and was very impressed, I didn't get too much into the stress test on the tremolo, can someone give me a review ? PRS claims that you can bomb the shit out of their gtrs and they stay in tune...Alex Lifeson used to get away with it...

ive had this guitar for almost a year now and it will stay in tune however i do not use a whammy bar becuase the whammy bar will cause it to easily go out of tune

You got it wrong in your description. I believe the 81tw is in bridge position and the 89 at the neck position.

I have this guitar. I changed the tuners to mini grover locking, and lubricated every contact point with a product called tri flow with teflon. Now no matter how hard I try I can not get it to go out of tune, It is the best guitar I have ever seen for under a grand.

beautiful guitar, i have alot and this is one of my faves, this n my mayer sig strat. the prs allender is a steal for 700 bux.sounds way better. versatile too. single coils are nice n punchy and clean, good for blues, country. might be the most versatile guitar i;ve ever seen. the push -pull coil taps and 3 way pup switch gives you 8 distinct pickup tones. emg's are amazing. they go for 120 a piece themselves. the 81TW is a beauty

@IronSupremacy the EMG's are active pickups...and far as which is better, its all matter of personal taste really...i myself prefer the stock pickups vs the EMGs in it....but as i said, all on personal taste,depends on genres of music you play and your set up as well...

This video sucks. This guitar can make so much better business. I'm an owner of Jackson DK2M and this PRS makes me feel better while playing. Even if it's Korea, it really rocks. But Emerald Green Burst is better. Earlier production emerald green ones are better than newer emerald green ones also : )

Better? You do realize both guitars are made for basically the same style(extreme metal) and both have the same pups(well the Alexi has one pickup but its the same as the Allender's bridge pup.)
