beams. The only purpose for them is to anchor the 1/4 inch steel sheets
that the concrete is poured over. The long span horizontal beams are

In any case, NIST's original report included floor studs but these were found to contradict the theory of collapse in the later report they made up so they were erased from the equations. In any case the heating of the floor slabs was ignored as being insignificant even though it must have happened

They ASSUMED an increased estimated fuel load from 4 lb/ft2 to 6.4 lb/ft2 just to make their calculations work. They ASSUMED that the concrete floor slabs weren't heated and didn't expand, totally against all evidence to the contrary. YOU ASSUME I am ignorant and unable to research this but you are just a dwarf-fucking idiot!

YOU LOSE. I gave you Salvarinas specifically saying shear studs were NEVER
used in the WTC designs. FLOOR STUDS don't have the ability to resist shear
in any case. Shear is a SLIDING motion. Concrete floors don't slide at all.
They resist shear forces until they crack, and floor studs won't stop that.

2. NO, try again. Floor heating and spalling is basic to the NIST assumptions.
Many core columns SURVIVED the inital collapse, and are on Video.
It's the floor systems, and the spandrel mountings, both core and perimeter,
that failed. NIST went to the trouble to find and identify every floor mounting
on the Impact and Fire floors, and out of 96 found, All were either failed
vertically, or yanked completely off the spandrels.

Why on earth should all those floor mountings fail when the heat from the fires could not possibly have been to blame? The fires didn't burn hot enough or long enough in one place to trigger such a failure. NIST had to inflate all the figures and ignore floor studs and concrete expansion to get their model to work.

The concrete, in turn, insulates the rebar, and provides compression strength.
Concrete is a material that is very strong in compression, but weak in tension

Analysis, will tell you that. Moreover, the thermal expansion and steel

Fine, the steel expanded and pushed both the girder and the exterior wall as it expanded in both directions OF COURSE! Problem is, even NIST's version couldn't have expanded enough IN BOTH DIRECTIONS to force the girders off their footing. Even if it did, an asymmetrical collapse would still have resulted.

There is a 1/8 inch steel sheet under the concrete, that's how they pour it.

NO, the expansion did NOT just have to shear the bolts, it had to push the girder 5.5" so that the centre of gravity of the girder was over the edge of its footing thus allowing it to fall down and allow the column to buckle. Those nice Aussie engineering experts say that their calculations show the expansion would have been insufficient to do that. Also, the fires were not burning in one spot for eight hours.

Second, you can't seem to understand the difference between heat transfer
coefficient, and thermal expansion due to heat (coefficient of thermal expansion).
They have nothing to do with each other. One measures heat conductivity,
the other measures thermal expansion. SOME materials expand when heated,
others don't, or at least not as much. That's why every concrete sidewalk has
expansion joints every 3 to 4 feet, but steel structures have far fewer.

This is easily demonstratable. Build anything you want 84 feet high, don't support it laterally, and it will lean disastrously to one side, if not break. even if made of steel.

Even a complete collapse of the floor supports would in NO WAY lead to a 'collapse' of the core columns. There is no 'crush down' mechanism that can act on it. The floor joists are rigidly attached, yes, but can only exert lateral force on the core if they did indeed 'disengage'...there is PLENTY of opposing lateral resistance...fool!
