I really don't recommend the metal case.

1. It's heavier than it looks. Using a kitchen scale, I found out that my DSi weighed 70g more than before putting the case on. Sure, it's not a lot, but you can feel it during gameplay.

2. The plastic edges dig into your hands. i had to cuts, one on each hand, because of playing too long with the case on.

3. A wrong colour can make your DSi look retarded. If you REALLY want to buy it, choose the same or similar colour to your DSi.

Those two colors don't look good, your better off getting the stickie skin things that last and you can play on your ds without taking the case off.

the case is being held with plastic. if it was being held by metal, it would have to be thicker, heavier and cost more.
