The reason I wear makeup (half the time I do, the other half I don't.) is not because I think I'm ugly without it. If girls have the option to look prettier, why wouldn't you take it?
I wear make-up, but I don't go all out. I do it for myself, more than anything, but I will admit I'd be self-conscious without it. A little foundation (I don't glob it on; I literally use a small layer. Too much can lead to break-outs) a little eyeliner, and a touch of eyeshadow (and none of this "up to the eyebrows" stuff). But yes, you're right. It's a personal choice, intensely. I don't do it for my guy; he loves me, either way. :) He's seen me in worse ways by now, 7 years later, lol.
I personally choose not to wear makeup everyday cause I don't want to feel ugly without it. I'm proud that even though I have very low self esteem I can easily go in public with nothing on my face.

I put on makeup not because I'm insecure or because I need it but because it's fun and you can be creative with it ,,, it's my hobby I enjoy putting makeup on me and other people :)

I only wear thick eyeliner, but I can't live without it. I see myself as the girl with eyeliner but not the girl without make up. Even when I'm just staying home doing nothing I still put the eyeliner on because that's a part of me, it makes me who I am.

Girls wear makeup to feel good about themselves, for some, makeup isnt only a daily thing, its art from inspiration.
It makes the girl feel beautiful.There is nothing wrong with wearing makeup ( unless you are 12)
I'm not saying girls have to wear makeup but there is nothing wrong with it.

make up is a confidence booster lol. some girls r so insecure that they put on makeup even if theyre just stayin inside the house. they cake their faces with so much makeup that they dont even look the same anymore. other girls (like me) wear it just because lol. i dont think i NEED makeup. i think i look no more different than wat i put on my face. it just gives a boost to wat u look like already :)

Some days I go all out with makeup on, and other days I don't. I don't really feel the need to wear makeup everyday, but when I do, it is because I enjoy the ART of blending and contouring and highlighting my face. I like being artistic. Like my face is a big canvas. Yes I do admit there are plenty of girls out there that are insecure. But I sure am NOT one of them. Confidence is key :)) just making a point.

it's funny how guys say, "we don't like when girls wear make-up" but if there were two girls walking down the street across from you, one wearing pants&a t-shirt hair tyed no make up, and the other girl is wearing a cute outfit hair done and red lips and smoky eyes, umm whos gonna get your attention? i bet the girl with the red lipstick...... the girls who wear make up guys asked them out more, than the girls who don't. Because those girls actually put some effort to look good.

@selinababie11 The first part of what you said is correct but the second part isn't. Just because a female doesn't put makeup on doesn't mean that she doesn't put forth effort to look good. There are plenty of other things to do with yourself other than put makeup on that'll show that you put forth that effort.

The reason I wear makeup (half the time I do, the other half I don't.) is not because I think I'm ugly without it. If girls have the option to look prettier, why wouldn't you take it?

I wear make-up, but I don't go all out. I do it for myself, more than anything, but I will admit I'd be self-conscious without it. A little foundation (I don't glob it on; I literally use a small layer. Too much can lead to break-outs) a little eyeliner, and a touch of eyeshadow (and none of this "up to the eyebrows" stuff). But yes, you're right. It's a personal choice, intensely. I don't do it for my guy; he loves me, either way. :) He's seen me in worse ways by now, 7 years later, lol.
