  • also, in the meantime for anyone on OS X wanting to stream. I found a somewhat practical solution. (this software would be faster). Install "VLC unrar" (google vlc unrar os x) and in your preferred usenet downloader, arrange the files so that the rar files are in numerical order and if theres a first .rar, move it to the top. then let it download the first part, right click it in finder, open with VLC and it should start playing, no need to unrar.

  • nice song.. wats the title/singer?

  • I'm very busy with my schoolyear's final exams.

I don't have many time for coding.

Maybe I'll have some on july.

My goal is not to create a superstar/fully featured software. What is impotant to me is to show that free and opensource usenet streaming software can exists.

Please forget closed source and windows-only softs like bintube and nzbplayer.

Linux and OSX users needs the same softwares as windows users. And anybody should be able to add features he needs. That's why we need OPENSOURCE.

  • Please post your source on sourcefourge or similar because your site is down. thanks <3

  • Looks good, hows work progressing?

  • the only reason why it's not already released on osx is that I don't own a Mac.

But I plan to use a friend's one.

I'll try to get it for you this week !

  • How soon is soon for OS X?!?! I've been looking for something like this for mac, but it does not exist. I'm currently using NZBPlayer for windows together with CrossOver. It does the job, but it's not very effecient.
