We wound up getting 8 inches. Anything more than about 3 is overkill. I'd glady give you 5. It's the first decent snow we've had in years though so the prettyness/novelty upside of it balances out the nuisance downside pretty well. I hope you get your snowman!!! But from reading the comments it's not looking too promising:(

Well I am in the part of America, where its rare to snow. So we get just as excited about it down here! I hope the snowman will make it into the next vlog! Merry Christmas to you and all the kiddies!

BTW, thank you for what you wrote in the comments on my "Gus" video. I had stepped away for about a day or so then returned to find yours and a ton of other touching and insightful comments. My typing fingers went limp as I tried to think of how to respond to it all.

Keep wishing for us to get enough snow for snowmen! It turned a bit too wet for that today-still, we're having fun all cosied up in the living room watching Christmassy films! :D

The kids are making snowmen across the street from me today. :) Im in Kentucky we got about 6 inches, not as much as some states did.

You must think we're crazy getting all excited about a few flakes of snow when in parts of America it's something like 18 inches! But it is actually quite rare for us to get any snow in December ;)

Snow is great fun for kids-shame it can be such a pain for the adults!

The last time i remember it actually snowing on Christmas day was in 1994, I remember trudging through the snow in deserted streets to get to my mums house :)
