  • @bobwilson123 ohh, so whatever the yarn recommends for the hook size will determine if my cardigan will come out bigger? Sorry for the questions, I am new at making clothes and still learning what yarn and hook sizes will do.

Thank for the help and the patience with my ignorance. :)

  • @jackiexboy thats ok, we all start at the beginning :) Yes if you use thicker yarn a nd a larger hook than i did in the video it will come out larger :)

  • @bobwilson123 No, I don't think so. The yarn is 4 ply medium 100 lion brand vanna's choice yarn. At least I think it is 4 ply; the 4 is on a picture of yarn.

  • I was wondering if I could use 4 ply 100g yarn for this project? If I can will it come out smaller?

    Thanks.

  • @jackiexboy is that 4ply Austalian ?

  • @jackiexboy Hi I think it will come out bigger, I use a g or 4mm hook with the yarn so if the yarn you have recomends a larger hook that it will come out bigger :)

  • Can you please tell me what is the size of this sweater? My daughter is 9 months old and she is a normal baby. Will this work for her? Great job by the way, you rock ;)

  • @MPkanaki Newborn with 8ply?dk yarn and a 4mm hook . it will come out bigger with thicker yarn and bigger hook

  • What would happen if I worked the front loops only?

  • @44yavet I am not sure it would be ribbed and may just give you a differetn look, Give it a go :)

  • i'm no expert but i would guess that if you double up on the stitches ie..instead of 9 do 18 and instead of 30 do 60/31do 62 it make make a bigger jacket.

  • @jodiwilliams70 YES IF YOU DOUBLE THE SIZE?STTICHES IT WILL COME OUT BIGGER :) lET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES :)

  • Thank you very much for taking a slow explanation. it is help me very much for follow the video. :)

  • very nice guidence thanx for sharing a beautiful video

  • I made sweater for my brother's daughter. She is only 2 months old. As per the pattern, the hand is very short. Can you please give me an idea how many chains should I start with for sweater body and hands depending on the age?

  • @Almonthari78 Iam sorry but I dont really know as I dont have any kids :( Maybe you could see how short it is and then add some more to the next one . Sorry i cant help you

  • I love you videos.

Thank you for taking the time to show us how do the pattern.

    You do beautiful work.

    Thanks again!

  • @SuperReggiedog Hi thanks for your wonderfull comment :)

  • I love your videos. They've been very helpful. You do beautiful work and explain things very well. I feel the need to point out to you that crochet is pronounced Crow-shay not crow-shuh. It drove me nuts through the whole video. Keep up the good work.

  • @treanaatkins HI there, I live in Australia an we pronounce it crocher....But i have change the way i say it in my new video's and say cro shay,

  • Do you recon with really thick wool and a bigger hook I'd be able to make this for a 1 year old?

  • @bethieegh YOu might but i am unable to be sure .. :)

  • I might try this for my little cousin's christmas set. x

  • hello I would like to make the jacket for my niece but she has one and a half but as you would to start many chains do I do if you had any video with a jacket for a child this age please tell me I adore and is so easy to explain I do not knit but seeing videos and madesome great shoes and they fit me thanks for your answer greetings from peru

  • Sorry, meant to get this in with my post below.

Hi, I am new and truly enjoy the video's I've viewed on your channel. You make it so easy for those havin' trouble because you explain things so well. I like listenin' to your Aussie voice; as I am from the USA . You do have a pleasant and soothin' voice. Thanks so much!!

  • Cats One Peice Wonder Set is so adorable! I've just started workin' on the set for a extended family member, due to have her baby girl in October 2011. Wasn't there a picture of a little hat or cap in the same pattern shown in one of the photos for the set? If so, is there a pattern for it? If there is one, it's just my "old eyes" that can't locate it.

  • @buffalogal46 Hi there, no there isnt a hat pattern to go with the set. its not just your eyes :)

  • @buffalogal46 :-( Thanks!!

@catsrockincrochet Would there be a possibility that a hat pattern could be in the future? :-)

  • hi i tried making this cardigan for my 16 month old daughter...but i went wrong..can anyone please tell the measurements to crochet this cardigan for toddler..because i really loved the pattern...

    thank u...

    sonalsp12

  • @sonalsp12 Sorry i dont know how to make this pattern larger but on cats blog there is a pattern for a larger one. You could use a bigger hook and thicker wool with that one, and it will make a bigger sweater

  • You are a very patient teacher, you explain very well. Thank you

  • @annikalad thank you and thanks for watching !

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. I am working on this sweater now and your tutorial is very easy to follow. I really appreciate it. You're Fabulous!

  • @MsTruthseeker99 Hi and thanks for your kind comment. I am so glad that i have made it easy to understand :)

  • thank You So much for doing this video it's done very well and explained to where it can be understood. I'd like to kow I am un the U S A and I'm using bereta satain 4 ply cotton yarn and a G hook I crocht loosely and mine is still comming out too small should I go up a hook size this is on the 0-3 month sweater I'm gonna do te 3-6 mo, also and on the patttern I noticed that on the 3-6 mo. sweater she mentions treble crochet does that mean to put that stitch in or does it mean a dc in USA

  • @slimjleo1955 I am un sure what yarn you are using as we dont have it here, but if you use a larger hook it will make it bigger but i am unsure if it will be the size you need. The patterns are all worked in US terms so the treble is a US treble :)

    thanks for your comment

  • Love this pattern thanks to you making the vid and Cat for making this pattern. i'm half way through the back took a break and figured i'd try an adult sized one. once i finish them i'll take pics and post links to where those are.
