  • I love this music. This image also like

He is carrying a deep despair, but he continues to fight.

This song is representative of all of them

  • Thank God for these films. Laymen are finally understanding why Batman is such a compelling character.

  • batman is a total emo

  • Man tears were shed

  • Does anyone know the track that plays when Ra's Al Ghul fights Batman on the train?

  • @OatesQuotes 'we are tonight's entertainment'

  • @Termiborger Yeah, the words of wisdom presented by the Imperial Guard in Warhammer 40k who fight and die to protect humanity from a universe that seeks to wipe it out!

  • If We die standing doesn't mean anything to you thumbs up! :D

  • @BANZITOMMY silly

  • @BANZITOMMY silly

  • The first time I heard this (not including the movie) I cried a little.

  • I hope to hell they play the last half of this song somewhere in The Dark Knight Rises.... it'd bring such appropriate emotion to Batman's conclusion.

  • Batman Soundtrack 4-9:

    "Barbastella"

    "Artibeus"

    "Tadarida"

    "Macrotus"

    "Antrozous"

    "Nycteris"

  • @squirttle92 Ah-ha, I get it! Green Lantern!

    Or, no, wait --

  • Theyre referring to Dawn of war

  • @Termiborger To each of us falls a task and all the Emperor requires of us Guardsmen is that we stand the line and we die fighting. It is what we do best, we Die Standing.

  • @DrKLOAN very true haha

  • This soundtrack would be perfect to movie Mr. Brooks ;) If you agree thumbs up :)

  • Last Minutes, is just from the part when he gets Falcone and then stands over a building, when Gordon eas decepointed and found Falcone it was like woow.

  • Yeah what is this "We die standing" stuff?

  • @Grimzy24 It's from a videogame called Dawn of War Winter Assault. Someone posted a video of one of the ending sequences with part of this soundtrack where a general guy makes a speech which ends with "we die standing".

  • @MisterMonkeyBanana Sounds interesting, could you send me the link to the video?

  • @JustinTylerAllen just type in we die standing and you will find it

  • What is this "we die standing" bullshit?

  • @Termiborger It is what we do best, we die standing.

  • "If someone stands in the way of true justice....You simply walk up behind them, and stab them in the heart."

  • Batman is sad

  • @alaindiazaran you're sad, get over it, you probably watch Hannah Montana and sing along, at least some of us appreciate the magic of a DC character who has stood the test of time

  • @wolfchicgalpal yes you're right because life is not only light butterflies and rainbows life is also darkness bats ! and fog lol

  • why wasn't this nominated for best original score, and why didn't it win all the awards known to mankind?

  • Best one

  • As much as I loved the Joker and Two-Face. I loved the whole League of Shadows organization. For once, Batman villains with no gimmick. Just a bunch of mysterious ninjas out to take down an entire city. Liam Neeson finally got the worldwide recgonition he deserved and was casted the lead in "Taken".

  • At around 5 minutes in you can't help but think of the tragedy that Bruce has endured, not just seeing his parents killed, but running into obstacles like the way Falcone looks down on him, getting locked up in prison, getting picked on by the prisoners, and learning the true motives of The League of Shadows. Then it gets to 6:25, he rose above it all, becoming more than just a better man, but a legend, a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Dark Knight.

  • @stinkyglasses wow! very well put! i hope THE DARK KNIGHT RISES has some similar theme to this!

  • @eyork9 Actually now that I've looked at it again I sounded cheesy as fuck!

  • everyine says joker is the best batman villain but liam neeson did an excellent job as Ra's ah gul. he played such a professional villain who wouldnt let anything get in his way to stopping what he thought was true justice. in a way hes almost like a hero

  • @cdog7266 - The best Batman villain of all time is Joel Schumacher! what he did to Batman, has never been done by any villain whatsoever.. lol

  • @DemiathDoomhammer LOL! Hit the nail in the head hahaha!

  • @DemiathDoomhammer Ha, great way to put it. But yes, I agree - those two Batman movies may have looked flashy, but even as a little kid I could tell somehow that something wasn't quite "right" with them, like they were missing something very important about what Batman's supposed to be.

  • @Termiborger THAT IS WHAT THE EMPEROR DEMANDS OF US AND WE SHALL DELIVER! FOR THE GOLDEN THRONE!

  • Why do we fall?

  • @crumplepoint To learn to pick ourselves up :)

  • @Hobnomb Still haven't given up on me...... :D

  • @crumplepoint i forgot what the next line is cos all i remember now is batman kicking ass

    '

  • @Hobnomb "never!" lol

whole movie is just a jumble of awesome lines and ass-kicking xD

  • @crumplepoint-so we can pick ourselves up.

  • 6:00 -7:21 = EPIC.

  • Sigh, really wish i hadnt come back to this song, because now im very tempted to reinstall DoW again.

    Wretched xenos

  • great sound

  • @Termiborger league of shadows

  • what is the name of the song when batman just escapes the train about to crash with ra's al ghul in it?

  • @Termiborger If I were a suspcious man, I'd call that reference too good..

  • @BoyofmanyNames I just lol'd on that one:D

  • sounds similar to the beowulf track around the beginning. composed by the same guy though so its expected :D

  • @namdrut Wasn't Bewulf's soundtrack composed by Alan Silvestri? Batman Begins soundtrack was composed by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard. Also, considering Bewulf was released two years after Batman Begins, it would be more correct to say Bewulf's track sounds similar to this one.

  • @iaintgotimetoblog well, does it really matter which one sounds similar to the other? they're both extremely awesome so as far as im concerned it makes no difference.

as for the composers part, i just remembered that lol, however, in my defence... *throws a smoke bomb and runs*

  • batman begins soundtrack is one the best soundtrack ever produced

  • omg I luv this part....the music... the movie....the words (in the movie)....everthing is soo true..

  • Very Compelling!!!

Makes you feel strong inside for some reason idk

  • the begins music are better then the dark knight the best one is when the police found this guys tied on the light showing the bat like symbol

  • @Termiborger

    For the Emprah!

  • It is what we do best - we die, standing

  • @yarrderp I came here from that vid as well. Glad I did so.

  • @yarrderp

    I just love it

    Imperium of man ftw :)

  • @yarrderp Haha! I'm so glad people came here because of BigDickCheney's version of the IG ending from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault.

  • @JinRenegade Ah that makes sense. lol I was wondering why he was saying a line from winter assault

  • Become a legend.

  • this song occurs when the cops make their first bust and they eventually see the crime boss strapped to the spotlight, making the first crude batman call signal. 6:33 is when Batman is standing atop the skyscraper tower

  • For some reason I think this track is a little different from that movie scene you describe. I mean it is the right track you're referring to in the movie, but I think it's cut differently in the movie. It almost sounds more powerful when Falconi is strapped to the spotlight in the movie. Great track to a great score though. My friend and I still argue as to who we like better, Elfman's score or Zimmer's score. Both are great, but I grew out of Elfman's work over the years. What do you think?

  • they cut tracks in movies differently from the soundtrack alot, it was a different bit when Falcone was strapped to the spotlight, but it's mashed up with other bits from the movie so they could put it on the soudtrack without it lasting only 45 seconds

  • Yeah, unfortunately they do that. But you're right, it'd only be under a minute if they just used that part. They did the same thing with the Rocky Soundtrack. They cut the songs differently, even the training montages.

  • I love the scene when he's on the skyscraper. Do you know the song for when he is in Arkham scaring all the dudes who are mixing the criminals? I'm trying to find good tracks to listen to when I play Batman Arkham Asylum.

  • i love this track, its just awsome!

can somebody say me in which scene this track does appear ?

  • I think it appears while Bruce Wayne is training with Ras Al Ghul

  • nah thats a similar theme but different its called Eptesicus. This is at the end of the soundtrack, so I'd assume its somewhere at the end.

  • The first half of the track is when Bruce is training, and when Ra's Al Ghul talks about how his wife was taken away from him etc. The last half was used when the Police find Maroni strapped to the spotlight to resemble the Bat Signal. And as heartsounds36 said, 6:33 is with, imo, one of the most badass scenes in the movie: Batman watching Gotham atop the skyscraper light a Gargoyle :D

  • thanks for posting this... i've been searching for the part at 6:33 haha

  • This is, in one word, amazing. I love 1:36 till 2:55.

    Woww. =O Simply awesome.

    Thanks for posting, man.

  • the best track. ill fight for your love Ana like a hero.Ill die for u.

  • Epic song, I love it!
