  • @YamahaTume Did you even listen to what he said? He Intentionally put it in that way. If you know anything about this case, you know it only has one stock intake fan at the bottom of the case. With the h50 pulling air in, first off, you get cooler air across the rad, and secondly, you get an additional intake fan there. It makes sense when you use your brain.

  • lol that radiator fan was wrong way. It was blowing air from outside of the case

  • @VaguelyErected Don't worry they have money to buy MOREEEE!!!

  • Dude, you don't press on the CPU when installing, you put it in place nice and slowly then close the door locked. Don't fuck it, make love to it.

  • witch song is it in the video ?

    btw nice video

  • 12 people are using mac

  • Should have had 10 x 3.5” Hot Swap drive bays in a horizontal configuration with 5 x 2.5” Hot Swap drive bays on the side in a vertical configuration. All in a completely seperate noiseless cooling rom going from the bottom of the case up to about the third 5.25” drive bay (only need 3).

  • @gcvorcaro1 it didnt say anything bad about micro atx he just said thats its pointless to buy this case if you are using that motherboard :P

  • they are using microatx to make the case look bigger and badass

  • imagine this case in white with brushed aluminium accents on the front and side bezels.

  • lol mATX in this case ;)

  • @hxavid i think he just wanted to show the cable management by using the cable management system on the bottom as well, but i agree, its funny seeing a mATX mobo in such a big case lol

  • wich mobo is that?

  • Comment removed

  • i love the music... is it from somewhere specific or just some random loop from some library?

  • Why is he putting the optical drive into the bottom slot?

  • very nice,

how you like the airflow, I was told to use this if doing water cooling only

  • Corsair, you really should've put a full sized motherboard in that case to let us users see how it looks. Kind of shady on your part.

  • technological!

  • A Micro? In an 800D? You must be joking!

  • Amateur ...

  • at 6:20 what screws did you use from the obsidian case? All the ones I try to use are too big.

  • background song guys plzz?????

  • I think the best with these videos are the music. :)

    Antec makes better cases.

  • He does 3 big mistakes:

    1. No wristrap for grounding.

    2. Monting the radiator inside the case. This case has holes for the hoses.

    3. Mounting a fan that blows air in on the backside of the case. It's supposed to blow air out there.

  • @HQsound Lol. I'll give you credit on the grounding. But the other two are mistakes are wrong. The radiator cannot be mounted on the outside because it is an enclosed water cooling solution. He would only be able to do that if you slid the hoses off the radiator, which would defeat the purpose of an enclosed solution. And the idea behind blowing air through the radiator is taking the cool air outside the case and blowing it through. You would be taking alot less heat out if you sucked it out...

  • @HQsound ...through the radiator. It also makes sense because the heat will rise to the top of the case and be ventillated out. However if you do configure your system into a push pull method, I would recommend doing it by pushing air through the radiator on the inside and then continuously pull the air through the radiator and out the back of the case.

  • I've just witnessed the most amazing thing in my life - the largest motherboard in the world in the smallest case in the world.

  • For as great as this case is, the H50 is about the lamest looking block I've ever seen. Does anything top the EK Supreme HF?

  • This answered so many questions about finding my way around my case (someone else's build for me) in such a short time, you're on my "no velvet ropes" list forever ;) Thanks!!!

  • I have an 800D and I hate the case. I am changing the case as soon as I have money for a NZXT Phantom.

  • h50 sucks, any diecent air cooler will win against that puny thing

  • @danthemanzizzle It does not suck. Theres plenty of reviews that show the H50 to be up there with the good air coolers with just one fan and almost up with the best air coolers when a second fan is added.

  • is this a good case after all people?

  • I have this case but it could be improved, here´s a list of things I want to see changed:

    1. Make the whole bottom ventilated

    2. Increase the speed of the fans

    3. Include three 120mm fans at the top to exhaust

    4. Make the 140mm fan at the back to a intake fan and include a dustfilter

    5. Make the bottom hdd cage removable so people can mount a radiator without modding

    6. The I/O port doesn´t come down automaticly if theres a optical drive at the top 5.15 inch drive bay, please change this.

  • lol he looks so tiny at the size of that case

but i like the 700d better

    corsair FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dont u need thermal paste for the h50?

  • @InazzProductionZ The H50 comes with some thermal paste pre applied.

  • @Taylexwow I was about to say... didn't see him put any on.

  • Hope Corsair will make bigger radiators with new flatter cpu blocks, like swiftech edge H20 240 and 360 in the future.

  • A M-ATX Motherboard in a Fulltower-case.. Sure, I've seen crazyer things :D

  • he forgot to put thermal paste on the cpu

  • @willeyboy2 If im not mistaken the cpu cooler has thermal paste on it when you buy it

  • @willeyboy2 the h50 doesn't have termal paste on it

  • LOL, the case certainly not made for that mobo.

  • Sponsor-me!! :P ahahaha i want a gaming computer so badd :P

  • what would be a reccommended choice of motherboard for this case? btw my budget is about £150 - £200

  • What is the title of the music ??

  • @Sam737loverfsx It's just some no name generic crap that you can use without permission. You could probably make it on a Casio keyboard in 10 mins if you really want it! :)

  • WAT NO TERMALPASTE ON THE CPU THAS A BIG NO NO

  • @croquis24 its alreade on the water cooler block included

  • whats the name of the music ??

pls write me a pm thx!!

  • What is that GPU? looks nasty

  • why o why a micro atx mobo in a full tower case D:?

  • I Am going to following this step by step...just need to buy two more items... :-)

  • @Drebln893 bad....just REALLY bad idea....i mean like, EXTREMELY bad idea

  • @Drebln893 way better to just go ahead on the internet and look up how to build your own custom pc....just follow the steps there it takes a lil bit of common sense...but doing step by step after this guy...nah....i mostly said that cuz it sounds like your gonna use the same models of components he used....are you? if yes then look up some more stuff if not then nevermind

  • @BoobieProductionVids ...lol, nah not the same parts. just the process. Havent put together a pc in like 5 years. Its crazy how things change. Water-cooling is just outrageous now.

  • @Drebln893 xD ok i guess

  • No one would build a computer with this case if they're going to use a micro atx motherboard, seriously.. this case is more expensive than some motherboards!

  • @mathias921 i would

  • 0:33 epic fail.

  • @silowhore

9 people know how to build a computer with logic in mind..

  • 9 people know how to build a computer with logic in mind..

  • Don't buy any pre-built system from Corsair...They dont like to use anti-static precations and like to cripple computer components...

  • Take note of this video as it is extremely rare to find one on Youtube that has tolerable music playing. I'm sure most of us were prepared for 009 Sound System to kick in at any moment.

  • @fi7thy Damn right! I´m so sick of all those assholes having retarded Dreamscape music in the background!

  • @fi7thy haha yeah its either 009 sound system or let the bodies hit the floor

  • @fi7thy lol

  • @fi7thy ; dude, I agree so much with that, I absolutely HATE those fucking metal music in so many videos, I always turn mute, or simple close the video after a few secs.

  • Why use the stock thermal paste?

  • Magnetic screwdriver? tut tut tut.

  • Its a micro-atx board. I thought I was going crazy for a sec, like "how big IS that case?"

  • Its a shame they didn't have the foresight to design a case this large and have it XLATX compatible.

  • I want this case.

  • @scary989 I just finishing putting it together..It took me 2 months of doubts before I bought it. All the airflow issues are unfounded. I have it watercooled, and with some thinking, this case is just beautiful. Cant beat it. I miss my HAF X terribly, but for water, it is the BEST. My 360 rad fits up top (Thick XSPC one) with so much room to work around it.

  • This is the second vid review of this case I've seen that has the host putting a micro atx board in this case. Seriously, tell me which fucking PC enthusiast that would buy this case is likely to be building a system using a micro atx board?

  • @silowhore ...could have been worse, he could have put an Intel Mini-ITX motherboard.

  • @silowhore Haha, in that bitch, even an E-atx wil look laughably little.

  • @silowhore I'm actually kind of sad that he used that board... MATX doesn't go with Full Tower cases. :P

  • @silowhore

ASUS's GENE motherboards are good. =)

  • @silowhore Because its CorsairMemoryInc Retard what do you think they are going to use. Thermal take case. Yeh They obviously chose Gene Motherboard for a reason for a contract or promotion reason. Don't be arrogant and post comments that you have no idea about.

  • @silowhore yeah that thing should be stuffed full of SR2 or a rampage III extreme or the likes

  • @silowhore because then you can do better cable management cause as you can se in the vid the m-atx board is sourrounded by the holes for cables .. if you put a normal atx or L-atx in there a lot of those holes would be hidden behind the board and you couldnt do such a beautifull cable management as with the m-atx board which is important for better airflow and cooling :P ;)

  • @silowhore For the irony?

  • @silowhore straight up nigga!

  • @silowhore People who want to fit a lot of stacked rads up the side? haha

  • @silowhore It's not a review, just a demo.

  • @silowhore It's a demonstration. Why would they spend $500 on a motherboard for a video?

  • @silowhore i use a micro, it was in my budget and i have a case simular to this... so stfu not everyone has enough money, even being a PC enthusiast... tyvm

  • @OthersShallFall yeah, you're not on youtube demonstrating a fucking gaming case though are you. and while im at it, if you're an enthusiast, maybe you should have been spending your hard earned on an "REAL" board instead of worrying about how cool it looks in a $300 case.

  • @silowhore why the fuck whould he buy a full size for demonstration reasons, likes just giving a simple layout ffs, why does it have to be anything special, its mostly around the case not the MB.

  • @OthersShallFall because 99% of the pc enthusiasts who watch this review or are thinking of purchasing this case will be putting an ATX board in it, so they will want to see how it looks in there and what sort of room it has with a full sized board in it and maybe a large video card or two? honestly don't fucking reply to me if you're going to waste comments dribbling shit for the sake of it.

  • @silowhore awww is someone getting all mad, thats cute bro im just diffending the video so you can go hate as much as you want, troll.

    Fuck you

    OSF

  • @OthersShallFall is someone gonna CRY :((

  • @silowhore obss howd you know lol

  • @OthersShallFall

    shut jo whore mouth fag.

    (ok seriously now)

It doesn't give a good presentation putting a component nobody will use for this type of case inside.

the micro has access to all of the cable slots however how ill one that probably every one will use?

how about an extended board at that?

  • @Marazish

I think that Corsair simply gave this guy these components to work with, this video helps even if you aren't going to put a micro atx there (lol) because it gives a brief basic idea on building a computer with this case.

  • @SlipAllCityToy

    haha, fair enough;

Actually I purchased one and just so everybody knows, a normal board fits just about the same, I'm not going to sit and study the video too deeply, but there are actually still holes above, underneath, and to the side of the board after installing.. I will say that some of the shields for the inside of the case felt a little off, they didn't quite want to sit back in place. it IS an awesome case thou, and the black is just as deep as it appears to be.

  • @silowhore the retarded kind

  • @silowhore dude, theres still some people who thinks about live savings

  • @silowhore prolly to show ALL the cabelmanagement holes or something..

  • Cooling paste?

  • Fine i'll go only because I'm sick of arguing with small minded people like you, and I'm free to voice my personal opinion if I want to. This case is plain and boring!

  • grow up seriously

  • @DECIMALS2007

    Personal opinions

    Get out please

  • 0:33 HE TOUCHED THE CPU SOCKET PINS!!!! GET HIM!!!!!

  • @acefilms2008 i have the digital torches and pitchforks !

  • its a great case but boy is it ugly

  • @DECIMALS2007 lol, have you seen your face?

  • Hi CorsairMemoryInc im just wondering what kind of tools do I need to remove the middle plate ( the one at the buttom ) becouse I have Evga x58 4 way sli and it doesnt fit on my 700d unless I lower the middle plate by 1 -3 cm.

    Please reply asap.

    Go Corsair!

  • The guy installed the rad fans airflow inside the case, lets heat up the thing.....300$ for a case....Is this a carbon fiber or titanium case?????? My Antec900 do probably the same job if not better for only 90$.....

  • The airflow is garbage unless you install 3 fans at the top, I made them intake but with each blowing at 2000 RPM the heat dissipation wont be a huge problem

  • This case is stupid. Over priced... get the HAF X!

  • best case EVA

  • case is tooooo plain.

Its far too big for lan-partys as well. so window is a bit pointless.

  • @Zwank36 it is also pretty heavy xD

  • @Zwank36 really thats why its one of the most popular cases?? its also 250 us dollars.

  • DERP A DERP DIS WATER COOLING CASE HAS BAD AIRFLOW FOR AIR

Kids... Are they lacing the Ritalin with retard juice these days?

  • Question Corsair what do I need to do for my SSD OCZ to be recognized? Have tried in hotswap bays and no luck.

  • The 800D is very ugly, I saw it yesterday. Horrible design, and bad airflow. Sorry but this is one bad case Corsair.

  • @naka538 This is one of the most coveted and admired cases out there. Multitudes of builders have hailed it as the best case out there.Quit spreading blatant misinformation you troll.

  • @ArmaniDemon its not misinformation. Its true this case has a bad design and airflow for air.

  • @naka538 i hope ur joking

  • @bradrhoades102840 Nah, it is. Airflow, horrible. 100% horrible, you have to go 100% water cooling to cool anything, the front gets fingerprints all over it.. just not good at all

  • @naka538 there are no intake fans so i see your point but i love the cable management and the slick look of the case

  • @naka538 "The 800d is very ugly, I saw it yesterday. Horrible design, and bad airflow." Did your parents drop you on your head when you were born, this is one of the best PC cases out there man! lol

  • Is the hotswap bays able to hold 4 3.5" HDDs or only 4 2.5" ?

  • Where do you put the H50 coolant in? Or do I need to get a separate thing for that?

  • @broo234 It's all preassembled... You just have to put it in your case.

  • OMG! the graphics card is longer than the micro ATX motherboard itself and 3 slots for it?!!??!?! wow!

  • that motherboard is tiny against the size of that case

  • Sorry,-what motherboard/Mainboard is it?

  • It's the Asus Rampage II Gene.

  • I was considering this case, but the main problem I see is there is no good air cooling flowing from front to back..how the hell did they miss that flaw design. You put fans in but no way for the fans to pull air in.. I'll get antec again..this time the 1200..I have the 900 and it's decent, but it's tight to work in it and that's the reason I considered the corsair..I might go with the lian li though...

I also think the website needs work..

  • this is inspiring

  • If i'm gonna spend $300 dollars on a case the least they could do is add some Kensington locks or some other type of security. I spent over $2000 on computer hardware and Corsair overlooked the value of their products. A K-lock can be cut by wire cutters but at least it's better to try securing the case.

  • you guys should bring out a bigger watercooling kit then the h50

    with a double or triple 120mmfan radiator :) a h50 XXL or something =)

  • the Corsair Obsidian 800D is one of the best cases for custom water cooling

and he is using a H50 CPU cooler...i know he is not gonna use 2 hours to setup a custom water cooling but still he could at least talk about it or show some pictures of a custom setup...i don't see why anyone would buy this case and not use a custom setup

  • does it not have a side fan?? otherwise, that is beast cable management. corsair is very innovative and puts many features into everything they make. sorta like bloatware, but you actually use the features, so it isn't :P

  • i have a question on the H50 ... if i wanted to cool anything else like my video cards what components would you recommend? cause it seems like u wont be able to with the h50 ...

  • corsair, i love your work! flawless equipment

  • you guys at corsair are brilliant! keep up the excellent work

  • why in the name of god would you use a micro atx motherboard in a case like this this is retarded.

  • @lordmat666 yeah they just want to show you all the cable management, I hate that they advertise...

  • @lordmat666 I think the main reason they did so is to fool dumb consumers and make them think It´s an ATX mobo and will get very impressed, if he used an E-ATX people might get the impression that the case isn´t that large at all.

  • hey, why dont you start making motherboards and Graphics cards? that would be awsome... then i could make a computer fully out of corsair parts :D (except for the CPU of corse)

  • the motherboard is looks like a midget in the middle of a baseball field

  • It should have been better to test build the system with an extended atx mobo, people who buy this cases are going to throw a lot of components in there.

  • What Video Card is that? Is that the 5970?

  • @Lasrkin40 It is a 4870 X2 or a 3870 X2 but by no means a 5970

  • @Lasrkin40 XD LOL! yeah right..

  • anyone know the name of the ambient song?

  • so many name drops.

  • what's the songs name? =D

  • Er... Why let the cool air flow inside the case from the back ?

shouldn't it be like normally flow the hot air out of the back case?

  • @cjgan80 the h50's fan is reccommended to be used as an intake fan. it makes more sense to have the cool air from the outside be blown over the radiator instead of the hot air from the inside.

  • I would kill for this pc.. :(

  • You advertised all the components except the video card! Tsk tsk... you just said installing video card but you didn't tell us what model or brand. Inconsistent!!

  • Did you use motherboard standoffs?

  • That huge, expensive case, it not TOOLESS?!

  • can you plz tell me what motherboard that is?

  • i believe u used mATX to keep as much holes free as possible, even though the mobo is alright,!

  • Were can I get the case??? How much is it?can i plz have a list of all parts used!! Thanks

  • @yankesstink

You can get this case at Newegg.com for $279

  • Please respond, what thermal paste is on the H50? is it special corsair thermal paste?

  • where did you connect the star-button (of the front of the case-power button) with the motherboard? sorry for my english- pls write soon.

  • guys im in serious trouble i have installed the i7 cpu in msi eclipse mobo (its my first build) ok and removed it 2 times trying to fit it and when but i didnt force anything at all and the third time i matched the cpu with the socket and closed the cpu holder

im afraid if i done something wrong like scratching the cpu or wrecking the socket but i didnt hear a crack anytime and the second problem i touched the cpu bottom and socket lightly by accident is it ok

  • what is the music its pretty relaxing

  • @maphantom i would like to know this myself, ive asked other videos but nobody seems to know.

  • Weird choice of hardware for such an awesome case :O

  • do y need thermal compone for the h 50??

  • do you guys ship the am3 bracket with the cosair h50?

  • A micro motherboard in that big, beautifal chassis... WFT FAIL!!!

  • Wow this video is very popular in Norway and Sweden. Thought America would be the country most interested in this case.

  • Where can u buy corsair fans?

  • I dream with this case.

  • can you install a RAM-memory fan on the ASUS rampage ii GENE?

  • are there 3 fan slots on the top 120mm so I can get 3 blue 120mm fans as exhaust and have the fan on the bottom be intake as well as the fan for the h50 be intake.

what is the best fan setup?
