Mr. Erich's claims sound illogical to me, yes some of the mysteries presented here does seem to suggest that flight or their perspective from such high altitudes were indeed possible, but his explanations on those answers seem to be based on nothing. Like the Nazca lines being runway or the Mayan's ancient astronauts. And yes I believe that ancient people have amazing technology, but I'd rather have it not rediscovered as it might put our civ into danger.

There were actually alot of universities in the ancient world, were many people studying mechanical engineering gatherd and compiled their ideas.

@LOLDIS No, archeologists and scientists have long since ceased believing that past civilizations were retarded and uncultured. The problem is that people like Erich von Däniken and other Ancient Astronaut -fans continue to believe so and keep on spreading these myths about "savages" needing the aliens to do great things.

The modern scientific community has never NOT believed that ancient monuments were made by anyone but people from those ages.
