there's an old abandoned quarry in my hometown and it had a crane out over the lake that had formed there. We would get on the cliffs and swing off on this crane cable. It would take your breath and drop you at about 35-40 ft above the water. what a blast. Then , word got out we were having some good clean fun and the cops shut it down. They don't get paid to watch us have fun. They needed us bored committing loitering crimes to keep the cash flowing through the county.
