the girls are good, compared to abbys dancers they are still good but not better. Don't let CRAZY cathy determine your opinion on the dancers. I bet if Cathy was replaced (preferably with someone who has better choreography and not a liar) Then they can go farther.

FIRST I did take your advice and watch your studio version...where is the technique??? especially from the older dancers?

Second..to talk about a young dancer the way you did, SHAME ON YOU! Every dancer develops at their own pace.

THIRD...as a real Choreographer/dancer you learn to step outside the box and become creative with all music. Thats true talent!

Of. story. and Third, I have choreographed plenty of dances and I would NEVER do something like that. These girls are talented, no doubt, but this is not a good dance for them.

I reaaaaally like the program concept and the dancers are extremely talented. BUT if you're going to do a dance to this theme you need the ACTUAL movie voice-overs and soundtrack. the woman voice sounds exactly like cathy and that ruins the mood. you need the stuff straight from the movie. ALSO wonderland is whimsical and free and colorful. this is not. they need flowy costumes and the real voiceovers the "mad-hatter" voice doesnt even sound like Johnny Depp and they need the movie soundtrack

When someone is this verbal against another studio they should be ready to show what they've got. As for your opionion of these dancers abilities, evidently you are not as qualified to judge dance as the professional judges were that scored this number as overall winner. Just food for thought.

This dance is legitimately very good and the dislikes outnumber the likes dramatically. It goes to show that people are so influenced by a silly reality show. Cathy may be bat-shit crazy and her daughter may be untalented as a block of wood, but her studio is pretty good.

I'm all for ALDC, but this dance was actually really good. Candy Apple's isn't all that bad guys. They were really together for the most part, and they can do alot. Maybe it wasn't perfect, but Abby Lee Miller Dance Company isn't perfect either. I think the drama with Cathy is great for the show, but they make it seem like Candy Apples is horrible. The only horrible thing about it is Vivi-Anne she is just a mess. lol. I loved this dance!

@HarryPotterHD99 viewed KAR results...this number was first overall. Take a look and you will see Candy Apple's placed first in almost every Intermediate category that KAR offered. I would have to say this group of girls and this studio have nothing to be ashamed about. I would think that most of the dislikes about this number are because of the Dance Moms show and how everyone dislikes Cathy. Goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover!

KAR promotes a fair chance at winning and gives dance teachers and choreographers the option of placing their dancers in the level they feel is most appropriate based on a collection of criteria: age, ability, training and competition experience."
