im perfectly fine with pretending this Terminator film never happened -_- it completely sucked! even though it was the first terminator i saw, it's a watered down contradicting piece of shit with a million plot holes... imo Tsalvation is alright, and at least i can PRETEND it was a prequel to T1 and T2 lol this one just sucked ass though :p
First time I watched this was like 6 years ago and when I watched the film I can remember thinking to myself that was a good film. A few years ago I sold it, just watched the trailer of it I'm thinking about buying that film again. Terminator 1 and 2 is much better then the 3rd one tho. I haven't seen the 4th one yet
I remember when I first saw this trailer the beginnig got me pumped up. Cause of the future but then I watched it and it was the same as the first two only way worse like holy shit what did I just watch. Thats why I like Salvation better. The future. No more Terminator movies in the past. But when they make the new one it better be rated R cause thats what salvation lacked. Terminations and lots of blood. Besides that is was better. Nuff said
The actor who played John Connor in T2 became a bigger dope fiend than Lindsay Lohan. That is why his career is gone, and they had to replace him.
The Terminatrix was a major babe. You would think in T4, John and Kate would at least say something like, "These machines are nothing compared to the one who tried to kill us on Judgment Day".
this movie was great from my perspective, but t4 was let down cause the story wasnt making any sense , i mean first it talks about a human becoming a terminator and then john connor from that point it was back and forth.
After all these years this is still one of my favorite movie trailers, the music and the action cuts really pumped me to see this movie and rewatch it still today, and say what you want but I loved the 3rd one, what I didn't like about salvation was that it was post judgement day and the whole series was about going into the past to save the future, I cut Christian Bale some slack because I think everyone was expecting the same awesome performance from the dark knight... that's just my opinion
'Imagine a world of permanent darkness, where machines control Man's destiny. Imagine you were the only one who could stop it.' - Why were these lines not in the movie? They add such depth to John Connor's character. He sums up his whole life perfectly in those two sentences.
This movie is really underrated. It's a lot of fun and Nick Stahl is by far the best John Connor in the series. Furlong didn't do much for me and Bale...well, overacting seems to have become his mantra in recent years. Stahl was much, much better.
@canadiancomet I think one spartan wouldn't be able to kill one terminator because the Terminator is a fighting machine that can blast through titanium and a Spartans armor is made of Titanium so if the Spartan isn't strong enough to take the force of the terminators bullets the Spartans dead!
does anyone think 1 spartan II could beat 1 tx or o1 t- 1000 or a t-100 or a t-500 or just any ONE terminator? please respond and please read about spartans if your a terminator fan
This is an Awesome movie, the story is way better than Salvation and the action scenes are great. Just rememmber the chase at 1:46, one of the best in this ten years.
Okay, it´s not Cameron directing, but Mostow did an Intense, clock ticking, spectacular movie. And of course with more deep in the characters than Bale´s one
This isn't my favorite movie out of the Terminator saga.. But in my opinion it has the BEST scene. When John is trying to stop the Terminator from hurting him and the Terminator replies. "Desire is irrelevant, I am a machine!" That line and the way it was said gave me chills.

@vequense I remember a comic book ("T3 - Eyes of the Rise") that came out around the time of the movie that showed the T-X training at Skynet in the future against a liquid metal type of Terminator. The T-1002, as he was called, did really well against her even turning his whole body into a blade at one point...until she used her Arm Cannon to destroy him. Weird, huh?

Yep. He looks angry instead of actually like a fucking terminator. You people want to see Arnold play a good Terminator and give an awesome performance, watch T2. It will make all the difference.
this trailer was better than the entire movie i hated T3 the tx was crap i wanted to see 2 t-800's going at in a one on one death match all i got was the flabinator and she-bitch go at it in a bathroom at least salvation had a kickass final battle i get that some peeps didnt like 4 but in my opinion its was a shit ton better than 3 its even better if you watch the extended cut of 4 but thats my opinion.

Just my opinion but I thought T4 was way better than T3. I think T3 is a piece of crap with 2 good scenes and a few good images. Neither can hold a candle to pt 1 or 2 tho
3 was very good. Personally it is one of my top 10 favorite films,along with T2(which is only a spot higher).I love how 2 and 3 both dealt with Judgment Day,the former being optimistic about our future,where the latter was more bleak,and yet still hopeful:one of the key themes of the series.I like all four films,but I hold the first three in very high regard,especailly 2 and 3.
Yes Yes! We know T2 is the best one. Can we please stop arguing about it. I thought T3 was good! I think the entire Terminator trilogy with Arnold were great movies. Each one had a great story... And then they made T4. What. A. Piece. Of. Shit. Can they just redo T4 completely. New plot, new cast, new director, new everything please! God, I'm sick and tired or stupid people saying that T3 is a flop. The movie has some of the most intense action scenes in a movie, along with familiar characters from previous movies, like Dr. Silverman. It's not better than T1 or T2, but it's still a hell of a movie. Show some respect to the series.
For not having James Cameron as Director, it still came out really great. Everyone says this movie was shit and that the actor for John was terrible. He suited his role greatly. This film had a lot more suspense and thrill than Salvation, which seemed more like an action dedication [originals]. I see what the writers were trying to go for here; showing how John completes his final transition. I believe if he would've had to fend for himself a little earlier, this might have turned out better.
@HaloModder555 I agree that this film was pretty darn good for what they had to work with. The effects/action scenes of course were excellent and the dialogue was as good and witty as T2. Where this movie falls short is the thrill and paranoid feeling of the chase from the first two Terminator films. The TX female character while creepy is just not as menacing as Robert Patrick's iconic T-1000 or Arnold's T-800 in the original. No terminator film they could ever top T2 but this movie was OK.

I would prefer James Cameron to do it since he is the Terminator God. Maybe in 2018 when he takes back the franchise he will do another
James Cameron doesn't want to make another one simply because he knows it's too risky. He risked a lot in T2 and T2:3D alone. James Cameron knows when to stop. He borrows from the best to make the best. It's great too because others can create their works of art based off of his own and continue the story to their liking. However, I do not agree with WB milking the series and expecting people to pay to watch it simply because it is Terminator. This is how a lot of stories are ruined.
Warner Brothers means well. They put a lot work into T3 as you can tell with all the content they packed into the disc. I'm guessing they figured with T3, "Hey, we're not James Cameron. Let's try a different approach."
Then they try something with big names and put some references and dedicate it to the fans but we all know how that turned out. If they would just STOP and THINK for a moment, they might be able to figure out the obvious. The TV series got it right and so did the preview editors.
Do you know why they didn't just use the original John Conner from the second movie? Both the films are 12 years apart. I'm sure he grew old enough to fit this role.
@kabuto310 Edward Furlong had a drug problem that's why the studio didn't ask him to return. Sophia Bush was originally supposed to play Kate Brewster but the producers decided she was to young and cast Claire Danes instead. Linda Hamilton turned down a chance to play Sarah Connor because she thought her role was too small in T3.
@HaloModder555 I thought this was a very good movie, good script and great cast. I think the only thing it was missing the was the feeling of paranoia and fear that made the first two Terminator movies great. I think that's why a lot of people didn't like it they didn't like the idea of a female terminator, but I think Kristanna Loken did a great job.
Terminator 3 was best I wish they would make one about the war. But who is to say a computer isn't already self aware. They say by 2040 a computer can make oppinions. :(

terminator 1 and 2 was the best. there was no need for this 3rd movie and if they were gonna make a 3rd movie, they shud've made it in the future war, but nope, they had to do terminator going to the past AGAIN. well, atleast terminator salvation fixed that problem, but for me the first two terminator movies are the only terminator movies in my book
Judgement Day was the best for the role of Schwarzenegger, Rise of the Machines was great for storyline, Salvation was good but no Schwarzenegger, The terminator was awesome for Prologue of the franchise
Better then Salvation but not nearly as good as the first two, which were in my opinion two of the best films of all time. But T3 is still a funy action flick.
this movie had the right idea for the plot it just wasnt dark enough like the other two movies. after T2 the soup has really been pissed in by the two directors
Fantastic trailer, disappointing movie. Terminator 1 and 2 are the only good ones, 3 and 4 are terrible. T2 is one of the best movies of all time, without a doubt.
I loved this movie. Its not a good as T2 or the original Terminator, but its WAY better than Terminator Salvation. But I am looking foward to T5, because its rumored that Arnnie and Robert Patrick are going to make cameo's.

James Cameron doesn't want to make another one simply because he knows it's too risky. He risked a lot in T2 and T2:3D alone. James Cameron knows when to stop. He borrows from the best to make the best. It's great too because others can create their works of art based off of his own and continue the story to their liking. However, I do not agree with WB milking the series and expecting people to pay to watch it simply because it is Terminator. This is how a lot of stories are ruined.

Warner Brothers means well. They put a lot work into T3 as you can tell with all the content they packed into the disc. I'm guessing they figured with T3, "Hey, we're not James Cameron. Let's try a different approach."
Then they try something with big names and put some references and dedicate it to the fans but we all know how that turned out. If they would just STOP and THINK for a moment, they might be able to figure out the obvious. The TV series got it right and so did the preview editors.

@kabuto310 Edward Furlong had a drug problem that's why the studio didn't ask him to return. Sophia Bush was originally supposed to play Kate Brewster but the producers decided she was to young and cast Claire Danes instead. Linda Hamilton turned down a chance to play Sarah Connor because she thought her role was too small in T3.

@HaloModder555 I thought this was a very good movie, good script and great cast. I think the only thing it was missing the was the feeling of paranoia and fear that made the first two Terminator movies great. I think that's why a lot of people didn't like it they didn't like the idea of a female terminator, but I think Kristanna Loken did a great job.

terminator 1 and 2 was the best. there was no need for this 3rd movie and if they were gonna make a 3rd movie, they shud've made it in the future war, but nope, they had to do terminator going to the past AGAIN. well, atleast terminator salvation fixed that problem, but for me the first two terminator movies are the only terminator movies in my book

Judgement Day was the best for the role of Schwarzenegger, Rise of the Machines was great for storyline, Salvation was good but no Schwarzenegger, The terminator was awesome for Prologue of the franchise

Fantastic trailer, disappointing movie. Terminator 1 and 2 are the only good ones, 3 and 4 are terrible. T2 is one of the best movies of all time, without a doubt.

I loved this movie. Its not a good as T2 or the original Terminator, but its WAY better than Terminator Salvation. But I am looking foward to T5, because its rumored that Arnnie and Robert Patrick are going to make cameo's.

TX kicked Arny's ass. Great fight scenes and a good conclusion to a great trilogy.
