Hi, I think this is a great tutorial but I have a question. When you do this to get a double eyelid is it very obvious that you have put the falsies up higher?
I used to have no EYELIDS at all. until I started wearing false lashes everyday and it just started to appear... even when I hve NOOOO false lashes on! x)

I learned on this Taiwanese beauty show that the falsies double eyelid method only works on people with eyelids that have very very little fat deposit. i.e. with little puffiness on your lids. It's supposedly more "stiff" so it's easier to push up and stay there.
@kaffiD lol I have those hooded lids where it's like... a smaller double but when you open your eyes it almost disappears =.= The sides are a little puffy so it won't work on me T-T
@kuty9111 i just got the blackhead/whitehead extractor from shopper drug mart (canada's version of cvs/walgreens/etc) and i think it was a revlon brand one, really u can use a fork or a spoon if u wanted to

Most americans think asian girls eyes are beautiful. I find it odd that asians try to obtain round caucasian eyes. Its funny how the grass always seems greener on the next mans yard. It's just harder to wear makeup that will look more appealing like eyeliner and false eyelashes with a Monolid. With double eyelids you can make the eyeliner more defined and false eyelashes seem more curvy and enhances the look overall. It's for cosmetic reasons. Not because we want to look white. As much as people would like to say that they are not trying to fit into the "caucasian" standard of beautiful they are not being honest with themselves. I personally cant tell the difference between the crease and noncrease. And in some instances, some peoples eyes looked better with their natural eyelid. If I could change my eyes, I would rather have asian eyes. They are so much more prettier than round eyes. :c) Im so jealous of my little nephews eyes he's so cute!!!

hawk816816...its a matter of WHERE u put the crease. if you put it in deep, and push the alot of skin in, it makes your eyes look bigger cuz less skin is covering your eye.
please, stop hating on those of us who try to achieve larger eyes. it makes it possible for us to do (and actually look good in) some of the makeup tutorials that are posted on youtube.

Oh, and I agree with 4evertruel0v3, who brings up a good point. Of course there are good-looking single-eyelidded people! I've seen quite a few myself. But if they had double eyelids, they'd be even more good-looking.

@vickijl they do actully, single eyelashes on asian are beautiful but, dubble yelashes make your eyes look more full and bold, look at elizabth taylor and youll see :)

Okay, lets talk like we are some what intelligent. Don't you think there is a Europeanization of what beauty is? If everyone thought that slanted eyes were beautiful don't you think people would go out and try to slant their eyes? If Asian kids weren't made fun of for having small eyes, do you think people would go to this extent to get bigger eyes? i have a question. what if you have a crease is just 2mm above your eyelash. like i have a crease but its so small. so do i glue the fake lashes onto my crease?
if im understanding your question correctly then yes, you glue the fake lashes onto your crease. but before you do that, watch version two of this tutorial, you can really see what I'm doing and understand more clearly the instructions. hope this helps, and my inbox will be open if u need more help!
it depends on what you wanna achieve by gettin double eyelids. i just want to create a fold so that it is easier to do makeup on. so if you want to make your eyes look bigger then im sorry it didn't help much :(.

my lids are too heavy too! theyre so thick ;_; ive tried this eyeglue stuff from korea and it doesnt hold it.. but i got eyeglue and i need to apply like 3 layers for it to hold lol so i gave up :/ and eyetape kinda makes me look like i have down syndrome XD

yes now both has double eyelid, but the one i used the cream on is deeper XD. if the cream is applyable on other parts of the body then why not the eyelid? i dont see why not. I put all kinds of makeup around my eyes. When its time to remove them I usually use whatever lotion is handy. It moisturize and cleans it. Works really well.
Recently I tried Cindy Crawford's meaningful beauty night lotion, to help remove my eyeliner. I carefully used a cotton swap to remove the makeup. The next morning I woke up to a slight puffy eyelid. It give me a double eyelid fold all day long.
Forget surgery and clue, just find something that moisturize and irritate your eyes. hehe
the thing i have with my eye lids are that they are wrinkly, like they have many creases, born like that and urs is smooth so its easier to make double eyelids seeing how its gonna be the only crease. GOD I HATE MY EYES OMFG eye glue never works for me and T_t i dont even know if surgery will help...
i kinda got it from her but she puts her lashes right by the lashline while i put it higher. i explain this more clearly in my version 2 video (it is a video response).

wait....I'm not sure because I cant see clearly, but do you put the fake eyelash above the black liner to create the lid? is that why you put the black liner first? or, am I wrong?!
no you put the falsies above your lashline about 1-2 mm so that it pushes your skin up, creating a fold. and for the black eyeliner, it is easier to put it on first because if you put it on last, you'll have to put some in between your falsies and lashline.. i hope that didn't confuse you more. ill make a better version of this video soon.
ahw i don't have a problem with my eye creases and i never new some people didn't have them. but i thought that this is very easy to understand and it's cute what you say about you trying your best to show us what you did :) i think you did a great job and you're really pretty xx

i could get a fold there.. then i applied the glue..
and i did that for about.. a couple months..
Once my fold was placed..and it got easier to glue my lids, i decided to use false eyelashes instead of using eye glue!
Because my fold is already kinda there.. i could put the falsie right on the lash line.
and i naturally got a double eyelid!

and every ONce in a while, i prop my lids up with the glue.. just to bring back the fold.

So... i have that EXACT eye lash glue that you showed on that video.. (for others, you can get it anywhere.. like walmart..or kroger, wherever.)
anyway..instead of buying korean eye glue, i use that.
it works just as great and is very cheap.
First, i got like.. a hair clip.. and i used that to poke my lid a lot so ...

if im understanding your question correctly then yes, you glue the fake lashes onto your crease. but before you do that, watch version two of this tutorial, you can really see what I'm doing and understand more clearly the instructions. hope this helps, and my inbox will be open if u need more help!

you did get an double eyelid, but the size of your eyes looks the same to me,, double eyelids are suppose to make your eyes looks bigger??

it depends on what you wanna achieve by gettin double eyelids. i just want to create a fold so that it is easier to do makeup on. so if you want to make your eyes look bigger then im sorry it didn't help much :(.

my lids are too heavy too! theyre so thick ;_; ive tried this eyeglue stuff from korea and it doesnt hold it.. but i got eyeglue and i need to apply like 3 layers for it to hold lol so i gave up :/ and eyetape kinda makes me look like i have down syndrome XD

usd to use glue n tape, dnt work perfctly, and feels weird, u know whta im doing now? Im using slimming cream on my fat eyelid, XD Im crazy. I usd slimming cream on the eyelid that didnt had a crease long ago, and now its less fatty then the 1 that already had a crease(damn small 1) XD guess wht? the 1 i usd the cream on has a deeprr crease now. my method s once its gottn less fatty just create a deeper crease with the thing u get wth th eyeglue. O.o I hope it works on my other eyelid XD

so one of your eyes had a double lid and the other was a mono lid?! lol! omg is that stuff healthy for you? lmaoo. now you make me wanna try it! & yeah i know what you mean. like i would use eyeglue/tape everyday so that the crease is like permanent but its so uncomfy :(

yes now both has double eyelid, but the one i used the cream on is deeper XD. if the cream is applyable on other parts of the body then why not the eyelid? i dont see why not. Lol i just make sure it doesnt get into my eyes. im using it for almost a week now still NO results. if it doesnt work i need to go back to eyetape (-_-). eyeglue no thanx.

I put all kinds of makeup around my eyes. When its time to remove them I usually use whatever lotion is handy. It moisturize and cleans it. Works really well.
Recently I tried Cindy Crawford's meaningful beauty night lotion, to help remove my eyeliner. I carefully used a cotton swap to remove the makeup. The next morning I woke up to a slight puffy eyelid. It give me a double eyelid fold all day long.
Forget surgery and clue, just find something that moisturize and irritate your eyes. hehe

the thing i have with my eye lids are that they are wrinkly, like they have many creases, born like that and urs is smooth so its easier to make double eyelids seeing how its gonna be the only crease. GOD I HATE MY EYES OMFG eye glue never works for me and T_t i dont even know if surgery will help...

i kinda got it from her but she puts her lashes right by the lashline while i put it higher. i explain this more clearly in my version 2 video (it is a video response).

wait....I'm not sure because I cant see clearly, but do you put the fake eyelash above the black liner to create the lid? is that why you put the black liner first? or, am I wrong?!

no you put the falsies above your lashline about 1-2 mm so that it pushes your skin up, creating a fold. and for the black eyeliner, it is easier to put it on first because if you put it on last, you'll have to put some in between your falsies and lashline.. i hope that didn't confuse you more. ill make a better version of this video soon.

There is a prominent crease on my left eye and a smaller/less prominent crease on my right eye.
I was thinking about putting on eye lid glue for my right eye just to make them more even. (:
