  • Bonjour,

  • Why can't you just import the deck from Ankionline?

  • @Hoopermazing With the latest alpha version, you can! It should reach the market in a month or two.

  • @NicolasRaoul ... will syncing media with dropbox work with that alpha version as well?

  • @Hoopermazing I am not using dropbox for this so I don't really know, please ask on the AnkiDroid Google Group, I am sure some people will know there!

  • searched for anki but no results.

  • @YagokoroEiji The latest AnkiDroid can always be found as an installable package here: code. google. com/p/ankidroid/downloads/list

  • Android phones have internet. Why can't you just download them straight from the internet? Now I would have to find a computer somewhere and download files. And if I'm on the go and would like another deck I cannot practice that, because I'd first have to find a computer.

I don't like this method at all

I do like the program itself though

  • @Allard88 I am glad you want this, because this is exactly what we are preparing! The development version of AnkiDroid allows one to download decks from the Internet, and synchronize online :-)

  • @Allard88 you can now download shared decks, with the version of AnkiDroid available on the Market :-)

  • Hi jdawgzim,

Ankidroid does not support images and audio yet, but it is planned :-)

Images should come soon, someone is working on it.

    Cheers!

    Nicolas Raoul

  • is there a way to install ankidroid without using the market?

  • Yes! :-)

    Just follow the instructions here:

    groups. google. com/group/anki-android/browse_thread/thread/e5fbed1023a0e085

The latest AnkiDroid can always be found as an installable package here:

  • Wow, I'm not sure what I'm looking at.

If I get a phone with Android, I'll have a go.

    Thank you very much!

  • @tomkun01 Download Anki for your computer (it's free) and you'll get a better feel for it. It's really quite remarkable. It has audio, image and LaTex support...

  • Does Ankidroid support media like images and audio?

  • I think it's funny that you say "Android keitai" :-)

(for they who don't know, keitai is japanese for mobile phone)

  • Love anki, gonna get an android phone soon.. ankidroid is a glorious thing.
