@IshtarBellydancer You and your students are a wonderful group of talented dancers. It's only because they learned from one of the best teachers in New Zealand.
thanks song names are usually in the comments below. it is Ya Habibi by Fadl Shaker. this dance will be for sale soon from my website for the price of a cup of coffee - look out if u want to learn it.. :-)
I love it! They were all beautiful! But where were they dancing at? in the middle of a shopping mall? It was a little distrading with all those people walking passed by in the middle of there proformice...
Beautiful! That is a very good beginner's class! Awesome! They're timing was great! Keep up the great work! Love the costumes! And are those organza silk veils?
This is lovely and captures the essence of the dance. Why make complicated choreographies-sometimes especially with such beautiful music..........less is more. You are a girl after my own heart. Thank you from a fellow dancer/teacher.
thank u for being so 'gracious' maturity speaks as you know wisdom and that helps in dance too! I agree, that it is a way also of getting students to stay enthusiastic if they can 'remember' the choreography and still look pretty ! I appreciate your comment fellow dancer/teacher ! have a lovely day!

thank you. It is the most feminine and pretty of all the bellydance props and using it to frame the body through a dance is as pretty as a swirling veil.Good luck with your veil dancing :-)
That would be very cool! I am having trouble finding that song in your clip though- I've been hunting the net to locate it, but the closest I got was a song called 'Ya Habibi' by him. Any chance you could let me know what album its off? Cheers! And I look forward to learning both veil and cane 'with' you! I'm always up for a challenge :-)
the song is'ya habibi ta'ala' on his album sidi rohi by fadl shaker. good luck..it is a pretty song and is so sweet, it says my darling come...so dancing should be soft and romantic..:-)
I would buy it in a heartbeat! :-) I love the choreography- so pretty, flowy and easy- but it looks hard to someone who doesn't know bellydance! I love it...You're really a talented choreographer. Have a wonderful day!
thank you - you are very sweet... :-) I will let u know when ready than... later will be another simple cane dance but looks great, that way you can piece this routines together and do a floor show for whomever!! in a heartbeat!!
I plan to sell the detailed 'how to dance this veil' soon for about $5 from my website...taking me some time to get to this, but soon I will have it up. but if u manage to learn it here thats cool... :-) thanks and have a nice day!
Ishtar- I loved it! I've been bellydancing for about seven months, but haven't yet tried veils..but I just love them...I might get that song and practice your choreography, as a kind of long distance lesson :-) I think you're just across the pond from me! (I'm in Australia *smile*)
hey thanks Amara..I try very hard to make choreographies that don't put off new dancers or any dancers with too many complicated moves, otherwise it takes forever to learn, most of the time people get discouraged.
thanks Hageulah, the song is by one of my fav singers, Fadl Shaker, the song is Habibi Tala (darling come...this is why we move our hands to say come when he sings these words)
Beautiful! Can I found that song on Itune store? What is the name of the song please?

that was very nice. Their viels must be very light. i have one but it seems that it must be a heavier material of silk.
faeartsharon 2 years ago
yes, you need lighter fabric, like soft organza or silk... :-)
